I read that too and it was dreadful and I totally believed her. There is an undercurrent in both the books and the Epstein files that she was a lot more trusted by Epstein and a lot more aware of what was going on (eg espionage and gathering blackmail material) than she was prepared to let on. I found that rather sad as it seemed she (probably correctly) realised that the general public isn’t yet aware enough of the effects of grooming to accept that could have beentrue, but it would still be a result of being groomed by an absolute expert and not really her responsibility at all.
The thing about this that disgusted me was that Mandelson said, Xanax was no fun if you didn't have someone to use them on..... 'All very well but you need someone to use them on.' So, I think it fair to say Mandelson liked drugging his sexual conquests. Whether they were knowingly drugged or he drugged and grape them is yet to be proven I guess.

Aside from amount of money being insane in any case, I don't think it's an 'exit bonus', but the last pay deal she got before she quit
So I don't know if that's an actual payoff on top of her ridiculous pay packet - if she resigns does she get to keep it all for the entire year?
Though I have a suspicion she might, us peasants don't get this magic payoff thing of the upper echelons - no wonder everything is a mess, the people at the top don't get stung when they duck up and abandoning ship gets them a free boat.

Ugh this whole thing is so gross and depressing. Then you read articles that Epstein's gf was a dentist and she was the one removing teeth from his kid victims, usually removing teeth is done so that a body is harder to identify, also fingerprints etc.
