I'm just wondering if they are asking for money for another reason. This is obviously far fetched but I'm going to say it anyway.

Could they be asking for money for a private prosecution? Apparently there will be more information released next week. Are we going to find out that Jay didn't fall as a result of his own mistake? I'm just speculating but looking at the route he would've taken just to get to the track he took before the ravine I can't believe he didn't turn back. That road is windy and all uphill, it's a long long way to walk especially if you had no water.
If he had nothing to worry about but didn't want to bother his new mates at the airbnb he could've waited at one of the bus stops. He could have waited at one of the viewing points. He could also (if he were a little nervous) have waited at one of the track entrances and at any of these points his mates would have easily found him.

He was 100% running from something. Or he was taken there.
I think they are very unhappy with Spanish police, they did say they had called off the search until Signi arrived. Did they say it was called off just to get the public away but continued or was it really called off but Signi coming made them look more.

Debbie said the search team cost £52,000 however the Dutch team only charged for flights and accommodation, so something is way out of kilter

I was going to say the same but was worried I may get jumped on. Same I grew up on a council estate but we were taught differently. My dad told us no getting up the duff at a young age and pumping out kids for benefits. I see so many who've done just that. That mum who said Jay has taught her son so much must be one of them imo.
---

The bottles of water get me, he can't bleeping drink it now can he!!! The pictures of angel Jay in the clouds over the ravine he fell to his death and laid in for 4 weeks. Even if there is an afterlife for those who belive he wouldn't wanna be there would he.
It worries me, the bleeping stupidity of the general public at large.

Yep even bringing the dogs it wouldn't be that much. I posted that same post as well but someone commented it's a fake FB account so not sure.

Even if the search team did cost £52,000, which I highly doubt it did. The GFM is a few hundred of £72,000 that’s still twenty grand sitting there. That would pay for repatriation and a funeral. If it’s not about money (lols) get it closed.

The post stating £52k was paid out was from a fake Deb profile, it was a scammer asking for money if anyone reacted to their posts

Thank you for clearing that bit up, the email address [email protected] seems correct, it is on their website but could easily be a forgery. Please clarify if this is also known and I’ve missed it. Thanking you fellow knowledge hounds.

They missed out DTR 😜 could have had him peering on the sidelines - close enough to be ‘involved’ and ‘noticed’ but not close enough to find him!

I personally find these blended pictures creepy as duck!
The whole point of a photo is capturing a moment in time of a scene that’s in front of you.
Blending pics of dead people and their grandkids etc is vile.

If anybody does want to leave their body to medical science you need to contact the relevent medical school and complete your paperwork in advance of dying. They won't just take bodies ad hoc and if you die of certain conditions or they are up to their quota for that year they wont accept you when you die, even if your request and paperwork was accepted years ago.
Its not a fail safe option

Did you ever watch those autopsy shows I think they were on channel 4? A bloke left his body to medical science. Showed some interesting things. I wouldn't fancy that being my body though.

The ones presenter by Gunther van Hagens were brilliant. I also found The Body Farm really interesting.

Yes it was him presenting. Was a good while back. Even in death I wouldn't wanna be cut up like that but for those who do donate their body for science they do help greatly.

Wasn’t there a hoo-ha quite recently because some woman had given her body to medical science, and then her son subsequently found the med school had sold the body on, and it had been strapped to a chair and exploded, to test the effects of some kind of munitions on human flesh? Which he wasn’t happy about

At least it would be different from going on Naked Attraction in that you wouldn’t have to worry about walking round Asda or starting a new job and end up with someone looking at you funny because they saw you on that.
