Went to I've followed this for a while and watched some of the theorists online, some actually make some good points as there are things that just don't add up surrounding the events running up to his death, in spite of all that it can still be accidental death taken in isolation so its not either or.

Yeah this bit has always been weird. I can only guess they wanted to go back to party but after the drive (I think it was about an hour?) they've hit a comedown so just wanted to go to bed, leaving Jay miles away from his hotel and pals.
I still don't think we've heard the full story of why Jay went back to the Air B&B or why he left there, also why he died in such a remote place and how come he fell.
It just seems a lot of effort for someone who is off his head, why not just chill and wait for the bus? Something must have gone down imo.

Imagine being his dad and having to listen to stuff like this? I do love that these armchair detectives in their ma's box room seem to know more than anyone else actually involved. I think at 19 he has just went back to either continue a party or whatever( the snaps he was sending about the watch etc, I'd take with a pinch of salt, he didn't seem the sharpest tool), but it was a long drive and maybe the comedown has hit at some point. When I was younger I used to go to a lot of house parties after clubs and when that comedown hits, the drink/drugs run out, the hangover hits all you want to do is go home and get into your own bed especially if you don't really know any of the people left at the party.
Probably left thinking he would get back to his hotel relatively easily.
I found it really weird though that they rented that air bnb away up in the mountains and an hour away from Las Americas in the first place?
Im not a conspiracy theorist and I absolutely believe Jay just fell and it was an awfully sad accident, but when his dad showed the clothes Jay was wearing, I was surprised they hadn't been cut.
I would have thought they would have just cut the clothes off, cutting down the front, as opposed to trying to remove the t shirt from a decomposing body. That wouldn't have been easy.

Most young lads i see who have taken their tops off, dont carry it, they tuck it in the waistband of their shorts/trousers.
Yeah that’s confusing me. If he was (not fallen) getting hypothermia he’d have stripped off, but if he’d fallen and instantly died, who took his clothes off? If he took them off and then fell, how were they next to him. This is all part of why I have reservations about it being a random accident .
Could the fall have been so turbulent his body was shaken out of his clothes?
