The whole series of threads started when the Facebook group started posting the most ridiculous nonsense. Stuff on fb has been a million times worse than here. and I know Tom very well (the lad who was attacked) jay wasn’t involved in that he was present but didn’t harm him which is why Tom wrote a post telling people to stop using his name. It’s a very small town tit happens, I don’t think a teenage lad who goes on a boys holiday to a party resort who dabbled in abit of drugs like the average teen deserves to be dead or have the piss taken out of him and his family nobody askin any of you to donate to GF page the fact you’ve all got your nickers in a twist over it tells me you’re either jealous they’ve got the money or ya skint as a scrubber who can’t spare a £1

I’ve just came here to say I genuinely am so confused with this case. I know they have held a funeral today but I genuinely don’t think that it is Jay inside that coffin. If it is then RIP to that poor boy and I pass love and healing onto the family however there is ALOT of people missing in Tenerife. Why did he leave the area when Lucy told him to wait there until she got to him? When they found the body they stated he was “unrecognisable” and was IDed through finger prints and jays clothes at the area the body was found they also advised his mum and the family not to view the body. So have they even gave any proof to the family that it’s even Jay? Or has everyone just assumed that the people who IDed the body is telling the truth because it’s such a high profile case? All the “professionals” over there are corrupt to fk

The funeral might not be to everyones taste but it’s very obvious that Jay was loved by a lot of people in his hometown and they are just trying to deal with their loss the best way they can. what started as light hearted humour on these threads is starting to turn into nasty bullying sneering and needs to stop. It’s clear to see that Jays family are absolutely heartbroken about losing him.

I have just watched some of the footage it made me cry seeing his mother so broken. Losing a child is the worst pain and I wanted go give her a big hug. I thought it was lovely looking service and that was an beautiful pair of horses. Funerals are one of the hardest times when you see the reality of your loved ones coffin enter the ground and they won't be with you in person. It's so finite
