I can honestly say in my 50 odd years on this planet I’ve never been to a funeral with a rave and dancing in on tables

In my lifetime I've been to a few proper wakes where the booze has run out. The hangover next morning was terrible by all accounts. The boys were all feeling very green

They did release balloons too, they covered all bases with the tacky tributes

I think balloon releases should be banned. They are terrible for the environment. They did one for that paramedic which murdered his girlfriend and then killed himself too. Hate this trend.

I’ve attended a few funerals in my life, unfortunately half of those for young adults or children. The only time I witnessed a balloon release was a scumbag family, the other ones were dignified and let me tell you, my hole turned inside out with the embarrassment (I was young at the time too and no aware how environmentally damaging they were just how cringe and attention seeking)

“hey balloon shop I need 99 blue balloons, no me granda didn’t reach 99 and it’s his birthday, my son that weilded a machete in a heinous attack just died”
