Oswaldtwistle without the 'w' and the first 'd' = Osaltwistle = Ozzletwistle (more or less). Are these not the same thing? 🫣

It's the way he said it. If I let someone stay with me and they walked the wrong way and were lost I wouldn't be thinking I better leave that blanket there to show where he was. You'd actually be trying to find them. Seems a bit much. Bare in mind at the point Ayub was apparently informed Jay was just lost, they had his last location so really you'd be thinking it was a case of walking up to the location and finding him. You wouldn't be saying best to leave some evidence he was on the sofa.He must have known fairly early on that day that Jay was missing though if him, Lucy and whoever else went searching for him that evening around Masca?
It all depends on how long the Spanish authorities deem it necessary, there is no Government not even the USA that can make a case like this go faster. Tests need to be done and a full review of all the facts, after they have made their hypothesis the body will be released.I wonder when the body is coming back here, it’s taking a while.
My daughter calls it Broon DeidOh well,he won't mind- he's brown bread![]()
I mind being told that locals never pronounce their hometown in line with the spelling... That way they know who's native and who is visitingOswaldtwistle is pronounced as if it doesn't have the first 'w' and the 'd' - so, Osaltwistle (no, not O-salt-whistle).
Reminded me of when I took the family to Happisburgh in Norfolk. We were calling it Happis-burg when a local informed us that it's Haze-brough - the two p's are silent and the 'burgh' is as in Edinburgh.
I'm clearly out of touch but just going by the lyrics... Sounds like a rit tune.Rach the gangsta has put a picture up on TT of Brad & Jay… she has put some music over it - a song called ‘Epidemic’ by Polo G.
Here is just some of the lyrics…

I just can’t think a 50 bag is worth that kind of punishment for (I don’t do drugs so might be wrong but to snuff or harm someone for 50 quid seems bizarre unless I’m misunderstanding “bag” and it was the drugs to sell to other festival attendees so few k worth). Anyways I was watching missing or murdered on Netflix and I think episode 3 was a young English lad that went missing at 19, turns out he had been dealing drugs low key but county lines was mentioned and I knew it only from this thread. An ex addict and prostitute said sometimes people were “bundled into a car in the middle of the street and kidnapped and held hostage to work in other areas as mules to “work off the debt” and it fully convinced me if jay wasn’t found, this was what happened. Maybe he was running away from that possibility and had a tumble in panic/drug comedown hazeI really think that losing the bag has led to Jays death, whether it was an accident or not.![]()
I don't reckon it was because of the drugs, the watch because of the drugs yes thoughI just can’t think a 50 bag is worth that kind of punishment for (I don’t do drugs so might be wrong but to snuff or harm someone for 50 quid seems bizarre unless I’m misunderstanding “bag” and it was the drugs to sell to other festival attendees so few k worth). Sorry do you mean he may have been harmed over stealing the watch and not losing drugs? If so, yes that financially would make more sense. Still excessive to snuff someone out over but those types of people I suppose don’t need much “cause”I don't reckon it was because of the drugs, the watch because of the drugs yes though
Thinking this exactly, I think Jays actual death was an accident, he just so happens to be wrapped up in a world of criminals and opened a giant can of worms by having an accident, yes drink/drugs prob contributed to his state but I'm not sure if I think his death dodgy but the entire crowd is for sure, it's literally the only facts of the entire situation, they all bent as a hooks and he is dead.I believe the drug dealing etc to be true but as a parallel to him falling and dying. Both happened but the drug stories didn’t contribute (physically anyway) to his death. I don’t think his body was dumped there during the football match like people suspect, mainly given the state it would have been in how long it was there. Possibly was running and scared and perhaps he would have been killed if caught I dunno but I think he was on a comedown and made silly choices
I'm this case I think the bag being referred to would be a larger bag, a dealers bag, so couple ounces or whatever not just couple grams. Hense the drug mule stories etc etc.. all speculation of course but just to clarify I don't think they Meaning a 50 bag.I just can’t think a 50 bag is worth that kind of punishment for (I don’t do drugs so might be wrong but to snuff or harm someone for 50 quid seems bizarre unless I’m misunderstanding “bag” and it was the drugs to sell to other festival attendees so few k worth). Where do you get this info from please? He was allegedly freaking out bcos he lost the dealer bag ( worth several £k) so he stole the watch to pay back what he owed For it. What happened after that is a mystery but it all started bcos he lost that bag
It’s all over FB discussion groupsWhere do you get this info from please?

There was a guy near me last year who was off his head running down a dark lane at 11pm barefoot, only wearing pants, trying to jump over cars as they came towards him. He got hit by a transit van (somehow survived) but the police were trying to pin it on the poor driver! There was a lad I went to school with who tried to walk 3 hours home in the pitch black along a motorway pissed as a fart in the middle of the night and got hit by a car and died on the scene. I was sorry for his death but he was a nasty little bleep who thought he was invincible and paid the ultimate price. People do the stupidest tit when they are young, especially when drugs and alcohol are involved. I said before Jay wouldn't have tackled terrain like that with any sense but the more I think about it the more I think maybe he would, he clearly had a history of terrible decisions.
Just imagining the funeral turning into a rave now, they’d probably set the decks up on the coffin as it’s what Jay would have wantedI dont believe this account actually has any connection, but the ‘sentiment’ really doesn’t surprise me.
Surely his mates who were with him at this rave know what this Dj is called that he lovedI dont believe this account actually has any connection, but the ‘sentiment’ really doesn’t surprise me.
