Late to the (post funeral) party but I’ve just seen some of the footage on Tik Tok and WTAF! Singing along to ‘Mr Vain’ and bouncing around grinning shortly after putting her son in the ground. Bizarre!

If the DJ got paid for the event (and let's face it they had more than enough money to pay her) I'd have told her to do one with those massive advertising banners. Was absolutely everyone associated with the funeral on the make in some way?

They were angling for Hannah Laing, a popular Scottish female dj amongst all the young ones - she played the events in Tenerife too. I'm sure they had Dm'd her a few times trying to get her to do a mad RIP Jay post and asking or hinting if she'd play the funeral.

Ive been to a few funerals, young and old, close friends, parents and friends partners. Of course you can enjoy a few drinks and play some of their favorite music and reminisce about them, share a few funny stories. But this, this bleeping thing is just something else, I’ve never seen anyone up dancing let alone dancing on tables. Absolute pits. And yeah the roll up banner promoting the dj

For the GFM to keep generating, I think there will be a headstone, birthday,memorial, annual convention of bricklaying, music festival/local machete attack that Jay would have been at, blue Christmas wreath...
I have a feeling there will be a trip to Tenerife around the anniversary
Maybe a memorial at the infamous bus stop, a blue plaque at the AirBnB, a guided route to the mountains and either a cactus museum or a newly cultivated cactus named "Prickly Jay".
