Spanish police done them a favour there, even if they desperately wanted to see him, which I understand, it would have been truly awful & stayed with them for the rest of their lives. It's something that never leaves you unfortunately.

Did anyone read in the article Debbie explaining why Jay got charged for battering that lad? Apparently he could see it happening from a distance so went to the police station to give a statement about what he saw, and he ended up getting charged. That’s up there with Dominic Cummings going to Barnard Castle to test his eyesight that excuse.

Imagine you've lived every day of your life on minimum wage but being topped up with tax credits... then your kid turns 18 and you're no longer entitled so your wage is is reduced. Then your kid dies and you've literally got thousands of pounds dribbling into your account every day... I'm sure she would prefer her kid back but thats never gonna happen so she's gonna milk it for all she can. Imagine he just has a budget funeral and this money is just for her to live on.

What upsets me about the GFM is my sons friend is desperately trying to raise funds for life saving treatment abroad. He needs 30k. He managed the first 15 in a couple of weeks but since just dribs and drabs every now and again. I understand it's not high profile like 'Beggy's' but wish people would show the same compassion to causes like his which could really help. Some people are just foolish with their money

The conspiracy theorist in me still thinks it's that he lost drugs, stole a watch to pay for it, went off with these guys under the guise of getting payment, realised it was a set up or that the bad fellas were coming to get him, legged it and either had an accident while doing so or an 'accident'

I get that he was a young man who liked partying, but ... it's not very dignified ‍. Maybe I'm just a boring old fart, but I like funerals to have a bit of dignity. Not suggesting it should have people wailing and beating their breast, but a bit of respect wouldn't go amiss.
