I get the feeling he does that for his own ego because deep down he probably thinks without being 'famous',she probably wouldn't have given him the time of day. When they did the Inbetweeners reunion,he asked that Emily Atack wasn't included as they had previously dated and he felt it was unfair to Claire. Theres an old interview with Claire floating around where she openly stated she wanted a to be with someone where she wouldn't have to work.

I get what you’re saying however my mum has been lovingly like this with my dad for years my aunty used to lightly punch my uncle she is a very Scottish old school wife it’s all banter. Whatever her intensions at the start which I think were questionable being a high street hunny on FHM dating Allan McGregor the rangers goalie I think she loves him.

Yes it is rude and loads of people used to think he was a girl! It wasn’t intentional for him to have long hair as his brother didn’t but he just had lovely soft hair that grew quickly and suited him.

The celebrity Gogglebox appearances didn't last,only 3 appearances. Wonder if they both broke a sweat and had to Miss filming for a week,it was almost like working for a living.

Isn’t hoping the ads pay out but still spending especially with two kids in this economy akin to using credit cards and accounts? That feels really risky. It would these days for even a two income household.

Totally agree with you. Both myself and partner are in well paid jobs but no way would we take risks and potentially bankrupt ourselves. I just dont understand their mentality, he can be very tight fisted until it comes to spending on himself and Claire ordeting Greggs and Costa for delivery,multiple take ways,yet advertising Hello Fresh. They no longer come across as the happy couple who started vlogging a few years ago. I think James saw covid as an excuse to no work and got used to it, they play he did was constantly moaned about because he couldn't stay at home. He says he wants to be with his family but leaves Clair to take the boys out while he stays at home ,sleeps or watches tv. He prioritises his socialising with his mates then spends the weekend sleeping off hangovers and sleeping in the guest room

Supposedly yes,but the wsy they dpend its probably already gone. He has an agent snd as 'the Buckleys' they have a management company, who need paying. The vlog was really popular and they just stopped,Claire could have continued while he was in the play, supposedly they have lots of celebrity friends she voild havr interviewed them. They just dont seem interested anymore

So wierd. I absolutely loved their vlogs not so long ago. And especially during lockdown.
Now I've got such a massive ick about them both I haven't watched the last few. I can't put my finger on what it is. I think they seem cynical about it all? Fair enough but just stop then?

I dont think they're the happy couple they have tried to portray. I think Claire has issues with him being away. If you compare the first 18 months to now, theres a big change in their rapport.

Most of the comments on the new podcast are asking about the vlogs. They obviously don't want to vlog anymore (Think James does but Clair has never seemed bothered)

They mentioned they'd got the Florida footage back before Christmas and said they might upload it. So I reckon they'll upload those before they even bother vlogging anything new.

I think they'll only vlog if they have sponsorship or an Ad. James is greedy and wants money for doing nothing,Clair is lazy.

On IG she posted about him being in the play again, only comment she responded to was Vicky Pattison, 'if you want to see it again let me know and we'll grab cocktails '. Claire seems more interested in celebs and freebies. No doubt vlogs will reduce or stop ,James actually working means Claire has less interest if any in the vlogs

Can someone help me to understand this hockey thing .

Does James have some kind of financial investment in them on the down low
Its like he wants viewers to back them and sort of get on board as though he's trying to raise their profile and I'm a bit cynical that there's not a reason behind why he's pushing this particular team on the vlogs

Ive just seen Clairs IG of them playing catch with the hockey players. Somebody mentioned Clair and if shes had her boobs done,I wouldn't be surprised,she loves attention from men so spending do much time with fit ice hockey players makes up for being married to lazy arse James. If he didn't have a bit of cash,I dont think she'd give him a second thought. Its amazing what some people do for money. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a merchandise deal with chieftains and possibly free season tickets to matches. There will definitely be financial incentives, only reason those two do anything. Also I noticed in Wednesdays vlog they sad they fo have any show biz mates,I thought the Dyers were supposedly their friends?

I wonder if we will have the privilege of a Christmas decoration vlog or are they now resorting to permanent grifting flogging tickets for their out with the Buckleys pissups occasionally posting a 20 minute vlog if a sponsor pays them. The podcast is easy,they just turn up and someone else does all the work also now James has the podcast with Jo. I'm actually quite disappointed with how poorly they have treated their supporters, or just maybe they can't keep up the pretence of a happy marriage. We will see,but certainly won't hold my breath

It's a marriage that needs alcohol to survive.

I've noticed that,but she seems to like the attention, regardless of how creepy it is. Also everytime someone asks if vlogs are returning, she says yes,but only seems to post Ads,Aff links and podcast related info.

She winds me up that she never declares gifts or aff links!
