No neither was I really, I only found out about him from one of Jeffree's videos. I don't know much about Tati so, can't comment to much on her.
I do find it odd how she knew about James being how he was towards straight men, and she's only now speaking out about it. But again, I don't know enough about her to judge.

Seeing James go from upwards of 10m views for each video and the Met Gala to Minecraft videos and barely scraping 2million views is hilarious. I thought he'd survived the drama but his channel has taken a MASSIVE hit which I'm sure is representative in his adsense checks. I suspect he'll be moving back to his old apartment by the end of the year (or back to New York).

Her husband helped him negotiate a new deal with his management and Tati helped him (as a friend) to get exposure.
If helping a young kid get his foot in the door of the beauty industry is “questionable” I’ve lost all faith in humanity.
Whatever side you land on with these two implying something like this is at play ain’t cool 😐 just my opinion no hate.
I also think Tati struggling to conceive might have made it all the more painful, because she did see him like a son in some ways, in my opinion anyway.

From her video where she explained that she got him a $1 mil deal for a makeup line and got him from a couple of hundred to $2.5k for videos overnight.
It would be questionable if it was a man in his late 30s and a teenage girl and the same goes both ways, it's scary that you're saying that someone can't feel uncomfortable with this situation and that disturbs you.
I don't think she did anything seedy or dark, that's an extreme and unfair thing to say as I said before I think she had nice intentions, it's just an uncomfortable situation to think about and I think she holds some responsibility in befriending someone so young and expecting so much from them.
That doesn't take away from James' actions, he is responsible for how he behaved, I wasn't trying to make you lose your faith in humanity by my comment and I didn't think what I said would be the thing that disturbs you more than anything, I'm sorry that was the case, I'll think more about what I type before I comment as my intention wasn't to upset anyone, just say a part of my view that hadn't been brought up.

These people need to go away and think about what they’re doing and saying, maybe even to the point of getting legal advice. They all definitely need to assess what this is doing to their brands and images (both personal and professional). It’s only a matter of time before brands start taking notice (if they haven’t already). Reputation and trust once lost is a difficult thing to regain.
