Been catching up on the end of the last thread and with you talking about shit dates and stuff now is my time to drop in that I left a date and went home in the space of an hour once, when leaving I was dying to get home but kinda thought I should be polite so said to the guy if he wanted a hug, he said yeah but "only if you initiate it" and since I'm such an awkward little bean I just went "Oh yeah no, bye" left and never saw him again.

nah i once went on a date with a guy who tried to get me to go out with him for so long and i finally gave in and agreed to a date.

took me to the cinema - one of them fancy ones where the seats are big leather sofas and there was a private bar and unlimited nachos/sweets/popcorn.

he was SUPER nervous and kept mumbling when he tried to speak to me and to deal with the anxiety he decided the best way to handle the date was to get rip roaring drunk before we even saw the film.

halfway through the movie i could tell he was hammered and was sat there like 🫣 as he was scream laughing at every joke. then the dude whips out a fucking joint and LIGHTS UP in the MIDDLE OF THE CINEMA. i was mortified and was whisper shouting for him to put it out and so he goes to dimp it out on the arm of the chair but because he’s so pissed he misses the arm of the chair and puts his joint out on my BARE FUCKING THIGH. needless to say we didn’t have a second date.
