I have lost a bit of respect for her for suggesting Poppy fucking Adams as a plus-sized fashion influencer. Poppy has zero style, I am amazed anyone follows her for fashion advice. Lauren has more in common looks wise and clothing availablity with straight sized influencers than her and people like Jessontheplussize

I tried one of Lauren’s Abercrombie & Fitch dresses and no way on earth is it worth $120 (not sure how much it is in the UK, sorry). It’s a nice dress but it didn’t feel that expensive, if you see what I mean. As on Lauren, it flattens out your boobs in a Bridgerton style which is not as unpleasant as it sounds, it actually makes for a nice shape, but it is very low cut at the front and back and I would just burn to a crisp in it.

There are supermarket ones which are similar and just as good for less than $30. I have a gorgeous one same style and colour (but with a tiny pattern) from Asda I picked up when I was in the UK at Easter which I have not stopped getting compliments on.

No shade on Lauren for this, she did point out it was expensive and it looks absolutely great on her but I don’t think it is worth the money.

I really like Lauren but don’t understand the needing another dress when she has a whole host of lovely dresses and claims financial issues plus all the dresses she owns are the same damn style, enough with the milkmaid puffy sleeved dresses, try something different - she looked lovely in the pink strapless dress

I wish she’d get on the jabs, I’m sick of the repetitive posts about how it’s ok to be fat (she’s happier! Definitely!! Honestly!!) ….and then shortly after, a post saying she’s really miserable and she’s been on a walk for her mental health lol.

I’m the happiest I’ve ever been on the Jabs! I’ve lost 6 stone since last March and I’m the healthiest and fittest I’ve been … also lost 14st of cheating narcissistic as well but that’s just another bonus
I wish they’d stop pushing it’s ok to be fat and anyone losing weight is the devil! She’s a proper bellend that one.

Oh no Lauren that dress is not good! She has this style that makes her look so Middle Ages for 35?? It’s way too busty and just not trendy.

She is honestly the overconsumption queen. For someone that talks so openly about fashion waste, shopping on Vinted etc… She sure buys a hell of a lot of clothes / dresses. I also don’t understand where she wears them all?! I know a lot of her dresses are quite casual and she can wear them dressed down with trainers and a denim jacket for a day out… but so many of the dresses she shares and buys are more for events? Like the one today, you can’t tell me she would happily wear that on a weekly food shop or a walk along the beach. I really didn’t like it either, put your boobs away and stop squealing X

She’s too scattered as an influencer too, like I dont get what her USP is? She needs to sort out what that is. I don’t think the clothes angle is right though as she cannot one day cry over being skint then the next show off ten new outfits.

Id selfishly love her to more history stuff. The clothes angle is oversaturated as it is and if she’s crying poverty and then advertising products of any type then it’s immediately disingenuous.

Her boobs are so squashed! Those style of dresses are quite a dated look. She should absolutely wear what makes her happy but she's not really selling it as a look.

I've got one of the dresses she's wearing, and I think she is wearing at least 1 size too small for her, it shouldn't be as tight round the waist. I was considering sending mine back as it's a bit loose but having seen her in it I think I'll stick with the bigger size.

I would add there is no way those dresses are worth more than £40-50, the original prices are MAD!

It's the disordered eating side I really hadn't thought of. I just think it's so easy to just deny to yourself what's going on with your weight because it's easier not to know. As I said, Lauren looks great. She's evidently fit and healthy but look at someone like Laura A - she can hardly walk to the end of the road without going grey and breaking out in a sweat and you know she is the kind of person this is aimed at.
