Things like that are usually released after sentencing so hopefully it will get more coverage then.
I agree. I think the same comments were made on here about not much MSM media coverage with the Preston case, but it all cam out after sentencing (as could still be classed as prejudicial I think in influencing sentencing).

“She tells the court that Josh Welsh is Isabelle's father and confirms she lived with him but he treated her 'not very well'.

The jury hears how she secured a non-molestation order from court to prevent Mr Welsh from contacting her.

Walker says she had CCTV at her Thornaby home to protect her and their daughter.

She confirms that Mr Welsh had never hurt Isabelle.”

So I’m assuming this is why Isabelle’s father couldn’t be around Isabelle?
Yep and prob why hes not been asked to give evidence
Interesting hs has refused to give evidence

That is what I have been thinking. If you go to a supermarket most of the beers are in multipacks (and much cheaper) so buying a 10 pack is probably the norm. If she did drink them all in one night ( I haven't seen it reported if she did or didn't) then how did she not pass out.
She was asleep till the afternoon, sleeping it off I suspect ?

Honestly it's not rocket science.

Random bloke (who doesn't want to meet you) moves in with your daughter and then very quickly your grandchild has a broken leg and bruising? Do me a favour
is this the same grandmother who was threatening to punch peoples faces in on SM ?

Simpson was the mother’s boyfriend not the father of Isabelle. Her father was devastated and I believe it was him who organised the funeral etc. one of the grandmothers was on fb yesterday threatening to “ smash people’s faces in” although I’m not sure which grandmother it was.
What’s the grandmothers name? One of them is named in the live trial

Verdict tomorrow or Monday I reckon!
I hope there is more media reporting once the verdict is in. Preston Davey's case got more media attention after the verdict.
I thought this was going to be pretty open and shut, particularly in HS case because nobody else could have raped Isabelle. Taking a long time makes me worry they could be thinking of not convicting one of them on all the charges. Hopefully they’re just being very careful.

The 10 cans is difficult to get my head round. We've definitely bought a box of beer of 10 or 12 cans but obviously not drinking them in one night. Her mum may have bought them thinking AW was only gonna have 1 or 2 that night.

Sorry to be crass but I wonder what evidence they have that she raped her own daughter? Rather than a man doing that and she potentially holding her down? That is far more common. A woman doing this is actually extremely rare, especially to her own child. Unfortunately it does happen but is actually very very rare. Not saying she's innocent by any means just wondering how they could prove that. Maybe there is her own DNA on her privates or something 😞 this is absolutely horrific. If true I think AW probably had this happen to herself as a child and the cycle continues, not that that is an excuse obviously
Maybe guilty by association?

No he didn't kill her, and yes AW probably "kept Isabelle away" from him but he could have gone to court and got contact with Isabelle.
It's rare that a family judge would say no contact. Even rapists and murderers get to see their children.
No he didn't kill her, but he didn't do much for her whilst she was alive either. Both things are true.
Do you know he didn't do that or wasn't trying to at least?

I get what u are saying I totally do. BUT she had an order on him not to come near them maybe he was starting the process of family court for access to his daughter we do not know. Yes he probably was one of them not paying maintaince aswell. BUT she had him charged for Donestic Abuse which left him in a sitution not to approach the property if he had of he would have been arrested she did not allow him to see Issabelle. So I guess he was tied too.
I agree doesn't look up to much BUT he did not kill his daughter
He didn’t kill her no.. he didn’t actually do anything for her .

His post on 13th July on f/b .. interesting.

Cross examination
Mark McKone KC, representing Alexandra Walker, is now cross examining Dr Duplessis.

He asks about the impact of the older head injury and whether she would have been lethargic.

The doctor says there is a likelihood that she could have shown signs of lethargy and could have started to improve.

Mr McKone asks whether Isabelle could have watched tv or eaten her breakfast after suffering the fatal head injury. Dr Duplessis simply replies: "No."

I don’t know if it’s badly written but the cross examination always seems to be in Isabelle’s favour??
