Ironing - do you do it?

No but I am tempted to give it a try. I like the sound of this part:

Everything else gets ironed - yes, including bath/shower towels, bed linen and tea towels (each gets sprayed with a dedicated fragrance ... eg.., lemon on the tea towels, frangipani on the bath/shower towels and lavender on the sheets).

Do you make the fragrances yourself?

Not a thing! Unless I'm sewing then I iron seams etc and perhaps maybe the odd occasion wear. And there's absolutely no way I'm ironing my partner's shirts and trousers - can do them himself.

Never iron anything. My OH is an airline pilot and grumbles about unironed shirts but doesn't care enough to actually get the iron out himself!

I iron my tops, smart-ish trousers, dresses that get creased in the wash. I never iron bedsheets, towels, wool jumpers, jeans or underwear. Sometimes if I feel like making the bed look nicer, I might iron the pillow cases but that's it. I don't own any shirts which is a blessing, because they are a pain for me to iron perfectly.

I have contemplated upgrading but my cheapy works fine.

It is also great for holidays as it weighs nothing compared to an iron and things get crumpled in a case

I do, I iron everything except towels socks and my own knickers. I do my partners boxers, bedsheets, everything else though. I normally have a massive pile on a Sunday which I make my way through, then midweek I'll do a smaller load. I don't mind it if I've got a good playlist on in the background! Life is too short to iron.

I don't buy clothes for myself that need to be ironed.

My husband cracks out the iron now and again when he decides to wear a shirt.

Heck no! I don't have the time or the energy to stand and do a completely unnecessary task. Most things we own just don't need ironed! I have the odd dress and blouse that need, but I only wear them occasionally so just iron as needed. Husband used to do his work shirts once a week, but since lockdown he's been working from home and not worn them. I don't understand ironing bedsheets - sure they come out creased, but isn't that what they look like anyway after being slept in for one night?! Our iron and board enjoy chilling in the cupboard!

Never ironed my clothes yet since leaving home (been left 3 years). However I don’t have clothes that need it per say, I would definitely iron an interview outfit but that’s about it. My Mum always ironed everything (she doesn’t anymore) I think because her Mum always did too.

I only iron my work uniform and that's because I can't get away with not doing it. I didn't even own an iron as I could get away without ironing my old uniform. I do have to watch tv whilst I iron though, just to make it a bit less boring.

We don’t own an iron we used to but it broke and we never replaced it. I never used it when we did. I guess when my other half goes back to an office we will need one but until then, everything gets air dried or rumple dried and folded/hung so it dries flat.

if it looks like it might need ironing, it doesn’t get bought.

I don’t iron anything. I hang things up to dry properly and I don’t think they need it, particularly as things are generally synthetic or blended fabrics nowadays.
I do possess an iron, but I only use it for crafts like sewing or occasionally to block knitting or iron on fabric transfers.

Growing up my mum ironed everything, she actually finds it very therapeutic?! I hate it, so I pay a lady to do it all for me now. Best money I spend tbh

When my husband was a coach driver I had 7 shirts and smart trousers to iron every week, now he's hgv driver I hardly iron a thing unless it really needs it life to short.

I find it quite therapeutic too, I stick something on my laptop and iron a weeks worth of clothes for 6 people, I do enjoy it and look forward to doing it on Sunday evenings, but probably wouldn't enjoy it so much without anything on in the background.
