She bought it in 2019. Neither the market nor she have added 50% to the value.

If it was suburban London then it would be a fair price, but it isn't, it's Northamptonshire and not really a commuter town because you first have to drive 15 minutes to Milton Keynes.
Considering you can buy a 17th century home with more garden/green space and maintained original elements for £1.250 milly around the same area is interesting.......lol

it’s so insane to me to drop a pencil sharpener as a product and not a freebie with the pencils ala pat McGrath and others that I looked at her comments thinking SURELY not even she is that ridiculous

well I guess she is that ridiculous 🙈
I can't even blame her, I blame the idiots that think that this pencil sharpener is going to be in some way different from any other pencil sharpener.

I have a pencil sharpener from Boots that has two slots - chubby and regular, it collects the sharpenings and has a little pokey tool to poke out any broken bits. I bet her greige pencil sharpener is your bog standard pencil sharpener, but I'm sure she'll try and sell it as being super luxe and the best pencil sharpener out there.

I am amazed at the plot the house stands in. From the videos i always thought the house was on a corner and on a new build estate! Maybe that was on purpose to protect the privacy. I do like some of the interior but not much lol I get people spending a lot of money on a house they wont recoup if its a forever home as it doesn't matter if you have no plans to sell, but this move just screams that they are looking for the next thing that will make them happy. Thing is moving rarely works as you still take yourself with you and if you are not happy in yourself a new house/decor/handbag wont make any difference.

On the listing itself it says that the average price of the house same size in that area is around 700K, while she is asking 1.2 mil :censored:)
The mismatch of styles is indeed beyond 😳 and that's a person who suppose to work in a fashion industry ad have some taste..
If she is charging for renovations people who will be buying should be happy with all those recent renovations and want to keep them, otherwise you would just buy a house that costs twice less and renovate it to your own taste. So good luck selling..

Also couldn't help but notice.. to put the storage cabinets with the handles like this under the bar where you suppose to sit  can imagine how many times they've bumped their knees on those..

I have rather sharp handles under my island (not my choice, it was this way when I moved it) and it's not that big of a deal. The lip is deep enough that there's more than enough room.

Wonder how long the house will be on the market

weird hodgepodge decor aside it is a lovely home with a beautiful yard. Hopefully the next lady of the manor won’t just waste away in the attic

I could see it sitting for a while. Interest rates aren't great right now and a lot of people are putting off large purchases.

I wonder whether the question the other day about an emperor bed was because they've put in an offer somewhere else or if it's just wishful thinking about the size of bedroom they'll have.

This woman wants to be stick thin, but live in a house that has way more space than she needs and sleep in a bed where her husband is sleeping a football field's length away. She's deffff mentally stable, guys lol

1.2 is insane considering how they probably spent half that in renovations. They must be out in the sticks. That would get you a 1 bedroom apt in NYC, for reference. Probably similar in London. Where can you find the listing link? (US based girl here)

It's on a site called Rightmove. I don't think I can say the location exactly, but it's 5 bed 4 bath

you can google image find it, the first link literally..
Thank you! Found it and Jesus, the difference between those rooms and bathrooms is… something. It’s like The Little Mermaid in one, Versailles in another, “we ran out of money for this one so it looks basic AF” in another… and for some reason I thought their gym was in the basement and not that they used a full on room that could have been a dining room. Also, agreed that Alex the Husband’s room has some flags that look…questionable. Wonder why their listing agent didn’t have him remove those.
