From what I've heard about attractive women in Dubai, I'd wonder what kind of 'work' they were up to.

I've asked it before, but I need to ask it again. What is the appeal of Dubai?
If you wanted to go somewhere, surely there are more interesting places to go.

I imagine Dubai to be like The Trafford centre* with sunshine.

*replace with any vast soulless place

The appeal of Dubai for influencers is access to rich old men who are bored of their wives and need new western women to do stuff with. They know how easy these women are, Instagram is pimping them out.

It takes all of 3 messages. I know this from various screenshots I have seen. These men start with a price. The women respond with terms (shopping, flights, hotel plus cash). There is no rapport, it’s transactional.

Dubai was seen as desirable place to holiday due to it being relatively Covid free until these influencers all swarmed to it spreading the virus around.

These influencers get a holiday they can take all there Instagram ads in exotic looking locales which helps with their engagement and companies actually pay them to fly over as it's advertisement for Dubai itself as a desirable tourist resort.

Then yes we get the ones that are also over there as escorts for ultra rich Arab men to live out their fantasies of degrading their favourite Insta model.

How funny/convenient that Dawn Ward’s ‘essential work’ is now complete. Just before the quarantine rules come in. What a coincidence

thank you so much x yep it’s a great article and she is spot on!

It’s written so well. The sad thing is he won’t understand it.

I cannot believe he wanted a fee to comment on HIS rule breaking.

I doubt he received any death threats.

of course he won’t. None of these influencers understand why people are angry with them and feel hard done by.

Arianna Ajtar pretending to have been home from Dubai for a week, yet posting pictures from Dubai with a certificate clearly stating yesterday’s date, silly cow 🥴
These influencers always out themselves.

Why is one breast out of alignment with the other.

Imagine lying about it in so much detail

Seems she is staying on until restrictions are over - good luck with that!

I visited Dubai on a cruise a few years ago and was scared stiff (putting it mildly). I was with my OH but we're not married so basically holding hads was a no no. Putting arms around each other also definitely no, and if we'd pecked each other on the cheek I'd have been locked up for four years, while he'd get a shorter time.

Remember about ten or so years ago when two English people (unknowingly) got into the same cab using two different doors. They knew each other and as you do, said hi and pecked each other. A passing local saw this and reported them and they were arrested!!!

Another reason Dubai frightens me is that caffeine is banned, along with Paracetamol. So for me, I can't have Paracetamol with me which I need.

Other Emirate places are great though, very friendly, beautifully clean, and sunshine.

Has anyone on here stayed at the Five Palm? Was reading some of its reviews and frequently mentioned is the volume of prostitutes/escorts hanging around the hotel in the bars etc...
