I have a website / FB page that researches and records the history of Britain's outdoor pools and lidos. During research I mainly find images of the pool, pretty standard vacation ones from 1930's to 1980's but occasionally I come across images taken by amateurs that are exceptional in capturing the moment. Here are some of my favourites. The first one, in particular, is smashing. The lady was not a professional model but I think the photographer was, in this case.
