Can confirm getting into the GDL is not difficult. It’s not competitive like law school in the US, I know many people with 2:2 humanities degrees who didn’t know what to do next so did the GDL. Even the LPC and BPTC are easy to get onto if you’re funding it yourself. Whether he actually gets a training contract though remains to be seen, I’m not sure law firms will like the tone of his videos.
Does anyone know what masters it is he wants to do before the LPC? He said he didn’t get into it last year so I’m thinking it must be Oxbridge or a subject unrelated to his undergrad as that’s the only occasions I’ve heard anyone get rejected from a masters in England.
