If it was his child, would that not have been taken into account during the trial though? Would the police not have established his true relationship to him? If so, and it was proved that he was the biological father, would this have been banned from being reported on for the sake of the child?

The grandmother isn’t hard to find on facebook if you know the mother’s name. They don’t have the boy on their social media but they’ve also not locked down properly either which is mental. On her timeline earlier this year she posted “god bless (mother A name)” with a little animated person holding a birthday cake.
So she’s publicly acknowledging her birthday on her not particularly locked down facebook. Doesn’t seem particularly wise.
The lad will be 14 now. I don’t imagine she’ll be allowed contact with him as part of her parole

Actually I just looked again and it might be a different and slightly more famous person with mum A’s first name she was saying god bless to. Now I feel silly

Sorry to upset anyone who may not have read the details but not only did they hand over their babies to IW, they got involved and joined in. They sexually assaulted their own babies on video!

I have a child. I honestly struggle not to get physically sick when I stop and try to compress that.

I agree those poor babies only hope was to be adopted. I hope they can grow up never knowing what happened to them as babies and have amazing loving parents they deserve.

That’s so worrying! How on earth can the grandmother allow that woman to be part of any of their lives. (Is it the boy’s grandmother or the grandmother of the accused?). Also I would hope she would be banned legally from seeing her son but I doubt that is the case sadly.

No I think that was the other girl. I may have jumped the gun on that one now that I lined up the dates . The daughter has a similar first name to someone particularly famous who was publicly going through a hard time and I think granny was saying god bless to the more famous person

Even if people don't know the details of the charges it was literally headline news that he was a pedophile. That should be more than enough to put people off. Trust me, I was literally one of their biggest fans. I didnt know the details i could looked them up if i really wanted to but i was happy to just forget about him and the band. I did know it was stuff to do with babies though. So basically I did bare minimum research and still knew. I was sick to my stomach when he died, not because he died but because his music was being played again with people saying "now he's dead we can listen to his music again" still his voice and lyrics though, why would anyone want to sing along to a pedophile

I was a fan of them prior and don’t listen to their music today. But I can understand why people have started listening again, he’s dead, he will receive no royalties. Most of their best music was before his offending, he was t-total until 2007.

I’ve just been on her Twitter and in Dec 2013 she posted an article in the DM about “a fan in her 20s” who IW begged to abuse her 10 year old daughter and offered to DJ at her party if he could sleep with her. Further down the article it matches JM’s story (meeting and asking for tickets etc) and refers to her as Ms Majic at the end of the article.

Again, her story makes no sense - she says they exchanged texts in 2010 where he said to get her pregnant to abuse the baby and in 2011 he said awful things about wanting to abuse her daughter?? If this true - why didn’t she stop speaking to him in 2010 once he mentioned getting her pregnant and shop him in then?

She knew what he was and went along with it.

Peadophile hunters don’t lure them with images of children as that would be a crime. They use decoys pretending to be children and wait for the offender to initiate conversation.
The ones that make (download) indecent images will buy or swap their own with likeminded people on dark web or even telegram. Or they make their own using pictures of children usually on social media and manipulating images to look like CSA. Offenders are known to collect and store vast amounts of material. Which unless for financial gain I’ve always found odd as they incriminate themselves when caught. Watkins had 5TB of indecent images on his devices.

I believe it's the way that they are uploaded and stored. They are all in batches that's why it's such a large number when someone is up in court, it's very rarely a couple of images. I remember reading that somewhere that they are categorized and downloaded in batches

We have A LOT of young ones now, it’s not like it was 30 years ago, all down to pornography. Some will not want to engage nor change, like nearly all other crimes. I don’t think IW at his stage of offending could have been helped, from what he was up to in prison, didn’t want to be helped either. We mustn’t be ignorant, some will have co existing disorders which aren’t treatable without incarceration which I fully support. IW would have always been high risk to women and children.
