The disgraced newsreader has another new project.
He is beyond delusional
He has enough money, to be able to retire in relative isolation.
Unfortunately, his arrogance and lack of insight into what a vile man he is prevents him from doing this. He does seem to really believe, that he is somehow the victim in this, and has been wronged by all around him. What a nasty piece of work he is.
I imagine him to be enraged, that he is not still picking up his massive salary - despite sitting on a pile and a huge pension too.
Hideous man.

As @MissHavisham says, he's got enough money to retire, and he's the right age, as well.
He's far far luckier than most, in that he can afford to live in beautiful West Wales without any money worries, and just fade into the background, but he obviously can't live without being in the limelight.

Even before the really grim stuff came out about him - the photo of him with his trousers around his ankles was enough. I mean, honestly - you would retire into absolute oblivion.
He is so lucky to be loaded, and money he absolutely does not deserve to have.

Just been for a nose. His lengthy 'poem' of navel gazing narcdom on substack is unreadable for those with taste and has 40 likes and 9 shares. His stack on hate has him quoting plato, socrates and aristotle and explaining, in a snobby high ground manner why he is not a paed he just opened a file sent to him. Any then why are ya flashing your a to a screwed up lad young enough to be your kid Huw? Foul little man.
Is he claiming mental health issues like depression or because he believes the depression he’s felt in the past (a number of years I remember before his crimes were exposed) is responsible and he wasn’t thinking rationally? Or because he came from a strict upbringing he couldn’t be who he truly was and had to suppress his sexuality? Or is he saying that despite doing these things people should be more forgiving as he sufferers mental health issues. He hasn’t properly explained. He just throws the ‘be kind’ message out there. Not that it really matters tbh but be interesting to see where he’s coming from.
Personally I get angry that he uses mental health/ depression as a ‘poor me’. I have suffered numerous breakdowns, PND and long periods of depression yet not once have I felt the need to download repulsive criminal images. His lack of remorse is staggering and further insult to his victims!

People like him can never be redeemed, this sort of deception after everything is a good insight into who they really are and how their minds work. The attempt to use mental health as a shield is enraging.
ITV News is being extremely disingenuous. The poetry competition rules are that everyone has to enter under a pseudonym, to ensure that all entries are judged anonymously. The committee's statement said this: "We have a process in place which ensures nobody, including the judges, know beforehand who has competed. After each Eisteddfod, we have a period of appraisal to ensure our processes are appropriate – this year will be no exception.” So they're not reviewing their regulations because of Huw, but because that's something they do as standard every year.
It was in poor taste for him to enter the competition, but he didn't break any rules. I'm not sure what policies a poetry competition realistically could put in place to ensure that no one problematic wins . Especially when the range of writers that others might find objectionable is so wide.
Did he enter it in Welsh? But printed an English translation on sub stack?

He may have broken no rules regarding the entry requirements, but when is he going to read the room?
Why does he believe that the public need to hear him playing the victim again?

Surely, he knew full well as a journalist/broadcaster that this would come to light, why bring the lovely Eisteddfod into his orbit
