How often do you moisturise?

Face twice a day after the old skincare routine, body every time I’ve had a shower.

Culturally for me, this is the norm, if I didn’t moisturise every day I’d look grey 😂 on the plus side though every boyfriend I’ve ever had had commented on how soft my skin is (also make sure to use a body sponge/loofah/thingy in the shower and use an exfoliating scrub before big nights out)

For anyone worried about feeling sticky or greasy it might be just because you’re not used to doing it often but deffo opt for the lighter lotions and maybe use a little less - nivea is good for this (bottle not tub). I get eczema so I use aveeno and love it.

I overheard a conversation at work and now am randomly wondering if I’m weird 😂 I only moisturise my face and hands, once a day before bed. Never anywhere else! But apparently some do their whole body after a shower? Now I feel like I’ve neglected myself haha
Whole body after a shower and twice a day on my face and hands.

Regarding hands, does anyone have any recommendations? My hands are screwed at the moment! I'm using the Lush one that's for nurses, but that's more like a barrier cream than an actual moisturiser.

The only thing I found to be actually working is glycerin.

I have dry skin and all the hand sanitizers/washing is ruining my hands. I apply it at nights before bed when my hands are in dire condition (cracks, bleeding etc.) and within a few days it makes a serious difference. I don't find the feeling too uncomfortable but if it feels sticky, you can use those cotton mousiturising gloves after putting it on so it won't get everywhere. When my hands are cracked, all moisturisers burn the hell out of my skin so I can't use them until my skin is healed. Obviously avoid if you're allergic to glycerol 😁

Face twice a day, body every time I shower otherwise I feel horrendous and itchy. I also feel it helps with circulation (mine is very poor and I'm always cold). I have dry skin particularly on my lower legs towards the ankle/feet. Sometimes even during the day if I am wearing a skirt or shorter trousers with e.g. loafer type shoes I'll notice how dry my ankles and top of feet look so will quickly top up with hand cream.

Face twice a day
I do my ankles as they get dry, weirdly, about once a week after shaving
Whole body - never done that :/

Wow I feel like such a slob after reading this thread 🥴😂
I put SPF on my face, neck, chest every morning and moisturise on a night time. I moisturise my body maybe once a year if it’s lucky 🤣 apart from when I was pregnant I did it every day - way too much effort imo 😄 x

Same. I use SPF every day on face, neck and all the exposed skin but even though I like the feeling, I can't be bothered to use moisturiser for my body every day after a shower. I moisturise my face twice daily though, as I have dry skin and it feels very tight and uncomfortable otherwise.

Face am and pm
Body....usually after I shave my legs as they need moisture so i do the rest of me whilst I'm there...should probably do it more!

Face twice a day after cleansing morning and evening.
Body after every shower/bath so daily (mostly - I don't waste water on a shower or bath if I haven't exercised or left the house).
Hands when they need it throughout the day.

Face morning and evening
Use spf sun cream in morning and night cream and serum at night

Body....every few months 🙈
If I moisturise after shaving I get a rash so I just go bare

I always used to have this to.. Made my legs so red and itchy 😭 I found a body butter by a small company called kitenest and it can be used straight after shaving 🙏🏻 it's all cruelty free too but it's the only thing I've found to not sting or cause itching after shaving and a little goes a long way
