My baby - he's called Cheesus. Bought him for £5.99 lidl 2 years ago. He's going to need his own room if he grows any more 🤭

Sort of house plant related. I found this little guy on Etsy and its the best thing I've bought for my Monstera. I love him 😆❤

Repotted my mama monstera last night - what a workout that was! 🤣 Three branches were cut off for propagation and I had to sacrifice a few of the non-fenestrated leaves to neaten her up!

Before… CHAOS:

After 😍

Some more of my babies.
I bought my money plant for 50p from the school plant sale. It was tiny with just 3 leaves.

And the snake plant from home bargains. It was half this size. Think I've only ever watered it once.

I have a monkey plant too but he doesn't seem to be doing very well.

Went to Plants for All in London today and picked up this massive alocasia for £20! The biggest leaf is nearly as big as 2 dinner plates.

Actually I struggle with monstera deliciosa. I’ve had about 3 and the leaves always go yellow. I don’t know what I do wrong?!
This is the last picture I've got of him from Summer 2022, I must have been really lucky as I just repot him whenever he looks too big for the pot (I'm not repotting again though, I don't have the space for him to get any bigger, he's currently over 5ft tall) I just use normal bagged compost from the garden centre and water him with tap water when I remember. Usually only remember to water when the leaves droop a bit.
It's not looking this neat now though because of his dramatics.

For people struggling with string of pearls, I have only one advice: LIGHT. Plenty of it.
Mine lives on a balcony that gets direct sunlight from morning to mid-afternoon and and is sheltered from the wind.
I got it when it was only four little pearls, and a year and a half on, it is thriving, constantly flowering.

I just got this variegated one, hopefully it'll grow as beautifully as its sister.
