Ofcom received 101 about the Later episiode. Most complained about show that week.
That makes me sad that people have felt the need to complain over an issue that happens regularly but just because they have felt uncomfortable watching it.
I don’t think anyone particularly liked the scenes however the vast majority know that this is reality for victims and I feel hollyoaks portrayed it very well and didn’t make it glossy or watered down.
Hollyoaks later is notorious for not holding back.
Ridiculous especially as every advert break they had a warning, plus it was mentioned on the unwrapped episode. Which then people spoke about to warn others on Twitter etc. I mentioned in on here for example.
