I think if UCL were going to accept her they would’ve done it by now. She shouldn’t have posted a video telling everyone. Especially how in the video she was talking like it was guaranteed she’d be accepted.

If the course has loads of labs (which I assume it will?) and not lots of reading/studying, she’s going to hate it
Considering the term starts on the 28th September I don't think she's got a place at all. They do say on open days to apply sooner rather than later because you might not get in the longer you leave it! They have put up on their site that applications have closed because the course was so popular, so Holly's application has clearly gone straight to the bottom of the pile in favour of the places they've already allocated.

Also she said something about "is two years for a master's too long" in the video of her decision not to go to the netherlands- as someone who has done the one year in the UK... I wish I'd had two years because it was the hardest year of my life.

In most European countries bachelors take 4 years and Ms at least 2 years ... idk why UK courses are shorter and so overpriced.
Now you may say I'm bitter cause my degree is finishing me off -but I don't think Holly was neither an exceptional student nor has a place in academia-
It is obvious she isn't all that passionate for an academic career and she is the perfect example of cognitive dissonance when it comes to nutrition.

Yeah I did an integrated masters in Scotland and that was 5 years, having the extra year allowed me to understand the fundamentals so much better and gave me a lot more time to figure out what I wanted to do and make connections in my school. Having an extra year of two of higher education is not going to make you miss out on job oppotunities!

I was scrolling through my photos and found this accidental screenshot 😂
Pretty sure that will haunt me in my sleep 😂

The question is what will she do if she hasn’t been accepted? There’s no way she can continue with the same “productive day” video

Wow just noticed her views dropped from 500K-1M (2017-2018) to hardly 40K-50K.
Clearly her most successful videos are revision tips and uni routines but looking back at her content there is an awful lot of plain boring vlogs, her diet and dance ones seem to get the fewer views.

I'd imagine she'd need to start doing travel vlogs again for her views to pick back up - a bit difficult given the current climate, but nothing to stop her exploring the UK.

Maybe the fact she doesn't have a place in a course is a good thing; she could spend some time getting the work experience to make her a competitive applicant to one of these programs.

Who are you kidding she'll just stay at home making up rubbish to do so she has 12 hour productive days. At least Emily got herself a job.

If she hasn’t got on the course she’ll put all her energy into her tutoring. Rather than getting herself a real job in an office or a lab. I think she’d really benefit from getting a job where she interacts with other adults and has to be professional... might help her grow up

I agree. As others have said before, hopefully she'll make an educational video about difficult A-level biology contents, instead of just vlogging how "productive" she is.

But you know she won't - why give it for free when you can charge £43 an hour for it?

A girl can hope! 😅😅😅 Anyone know what Emily actually does yet?
Always wondered this! In the vid where holly followed her morning routine she didn't leave for work until like 10 which isn't exactly normal 9-5, but she was also wfh during quarantine. She mentioned in a Q&A of hers that she prefers to keep it private and fair enough I think!

This would be a dream but honestly the job market is so bad. I'm graduating after an undergrad degree and a masters degree in Aus, have worked throughout all my education including in my profession for the last two years and I barely got a grad job. Many people similar to me (many with far better grades) missed out. Holly doesn't stand a chance in getting a job in any profession, especially something like retail that wouldn't look at grades/ experience at much but values interpersonal skills.

Nah she definitely has an office job. I thought it was in finance for some reason but I'm also pretty sure I'm wrong.
Yeh her family don't strike me as the kind of people who would accept a retail type job, I could never imagine Holly working in a shop etc either. She annoys me but I feel bad for any graduates now, I graduated just as the world financial crisis happened, which was pretty bad, but this is so much worse for the graduate job market

I've literally just graduated which is why I'm doing a masters too to gain another qualification and another year. I'd guess that's what Holly is doing, but she's not really in it for the qualification, just because she's scared of life outside of education.
