long story short- she made a blog post years ago and used the word ‘chinky’ in it and over the years had been called out on it and for her to delete it but All she did was ignore or block people. Then BLM started and she was called out again and this time people were tagging brands. She came out with a fake apology (more a woe is me, it was the epitome of white privilege) about how she was only made aware of it then and then deleted. edit: not that doing a makeup career or anything in the beauty industry is not impressive btw, it very much is!
