Lol what the actual hell is that gifted stay. No idea why she thinks is going to be influenced to go there. Everyone else with a new born just trying to get by at home. The most unrelatable thing i think ive ever seen an influencer post
I completely agree. It’s absolutely the most un relatable thing I have ever seen. Would have been nice to gift that to a mum who a) can’t afford it and b) doesn’t have their partner home 24/7. Can’t see this advert generating many purchases!

Sorry I am going on but I have just seen more of the stories and my god she is so tone deaf advertising this, especially when we are in such a bad cost of living crisis. They just live in another reality altogether.

Lol at her trying to justify it in the comments.
i wouldnt say no to a free stay either- but would maybe try and negotiate a giveaway to a new mum would wouldnt otherwise be able to afford it!

the fact she says “its a personal choice if someone wants to invest in it” is a clear demonstration of her ignorance to 99% of the population. It wouldnt possibly ever be a choice to be spending that sum of money on some postpartum “healing” for most people

I think if she had experienced a day and then ran a competition and I feel that would have been more of a PR success

Exactly!! She’s backtracking saying she hopes other brands or companies start to offer this type of service or it becomes available as part of post partum. Ummm the problem is the nhs has no money to spend on post partum care (anyone who’s had a baby will know there is duck all money for you or your baby. Try getting a tongue tie appointment or physio etc!!) and why would private firms offer it? Most mums have little money to spend on a hotel stay as lovely as that would be so there’s such a limited market of rich people that could afford such a service.
She is so deluded and far removed from the realities and tough choices most families face. Like nursery costs, she won’t have a clue because her and her fella will be dancing around at home filming cOnTenT and not need to pay out while they ‘work’. But yeah she’s got it hard like everyone else. Makes me mad!!

this has infuriated me!!!! ‘A personal choice’ LOL
Also, I hate how they can’t take criticism and delete any negative comments, if this is your ‘job’ as you say, a saleswoman, you should expect feedback on what you’re advertising, like you would in any other role. (But of course we know it’s not a job and it’s just freeloading). As if she really thinks this is going to persuade more workplaces or healthcare services to offer a 5K hotel stay in the name of ‘postpartum care’

Not her now getting a discount code for the ridiculously expensive postpartum retreat, I’m sure that’s now made it really affordable for everyone 🙄 😫

Exactly, it’s still 4k i haven’t even managed to save that for my mat leave starting in June (2nd baby so childcare costs make it impossible to save). Unless you’re an influencer or extremely wealthy theres no way you’d be booking this even with a grand off

I can't believe companies are still gifting like this?!? If I was a proper Karen I would say to them nah I don't want your 15% (whatever it is) discount I would like it free like you've managed to do for so many others! I've been struggling financially so much recently and seeing people get holidays, gifts, breaks away for doing so little is really getting to me. 😅🫠 Can't wait for influencer culture to die off

I honestly can't believe something like this even exists. It feels like a Black Mirror plebs Vs rich episode 🤣

Steph’s gone very quiet……… Let me guess - they’ve hit the peak crying at 6 to 8 weeks old. Anyways, I thought their baby was “super chill” so it can’t be that then! 😂

sorry but this is just not post partum reality!
I also couldn’t think of anything worse than packing up the million things you need with a new baby to go away week after week. All i wanted to do (all i had the energy to do) with my newborn was snuggle on the sofa!

She has so much help it’s unreal?! Partner that’s home all day, her parents are clearly around a lot, she’s had friends clean the house, I bet she’s got a cleaner/gardener, sends washing out etc.
Then a stay at a luxury hotel with nanny’s and food brought to her room. Then to another retreat where all meals will be made for them, they don’t need to clean up.
And she bangs on about getting a ten minute shower a day and how it’s like a spa because she has no time. What a load of rubbish. She clearly gets way more free time to do her hair and makeup.

fwiw I don’t care but she’s not being honest and the pretending she’s like everyone else is bull.

For any new mums out there. Ignore this drivel. She is not the same as most mums. She is basically getting it very very easy with a lot of help that most mums would never even dream of being able to have. You are doing amazing if you just manage to get up, feed your baby and get through the day!
