So a little update, I had both daiths done (not by a piercer but by a medical professional who only does them for migraines) four weeks ago. The first week I instantly regretted it and my headaches were worse, shorter but worse in pain but I have not had one migraine since.
He gave me an extensive report of the reasons why I was getting headaches and recommended some exercises along with seeing an osteopath. In all honestly I think the osteopath was the best thing I did. Since my 2nd session with him I have not had a single headache.
I do think the daiths have helped my migraines, and honestly the brain fog lifted instantly. I have weirdly also lost my sweet tooth and my intense need to eat which I think was a combination of feeling rubbish along with the dread of a sugar low/hunger induced headache.
I have lots of piercings, the pain was intense but I must say the healing has been quite brutal, they are still sore and quite weepy. I still cannot wear headphones and sleeping can still be quite uncomfortable, but I do not regret having them done.
