He's actually got talent, flair and charisma. Harry's PR people (and stans) just spent years telling everyone he does, which isn't the same thing.
I don't even dislike Harry or all of his music, but the pedestal he was put on was ludicrous.
The pedestal he was put on is going to be his undoing now I think because people realise he’s all fur coat and no knickers. Unless he pivots and creates something new and or fresh and or exciting I don’t see him having the longevity of a major major star. Him and his people had 3-4 years to think about his next big move and they’ve fluffed it starting with the audacious ticket prices/lack of tour locations. I think acting would’ve been the absolute move for someone like him but he can’t act
He did a decent job in Dunkirk, although I think he was basically just playing himself but in a WWII uniform.
It became pretty obvious he was only cast in Don't Worry Darling because Olivia Wilde wanted (inexplicably) to get in his pants.
He's only done one other film with nothing else on the horizon that I know of.

I agree he wasn’t bad in Dunkirk though he was barely in it. Florence Pugh carried him through DWD- he’s not leading man material. Don’t think Florence Pugh thought much of him mind but that might’ve been more to do with the Olivia Wilde situation. My policeman was pretty bad in my opinion largely due to him being wooden as duck. Apparently he was in a marvel film? If his acting had paid off I’m not even sure he’d be touring today I think he’d be doing films and releasing albums on the side as it would be more copacetic with the lifestyle he seems to want for himself. I do think he’ll put a good show on for his new tour as he has done in the past (based off TikTok’s I’ve seen) but god knows what he’s going to do because I think people will be expecting choreo now and I’m not sure he will be able to do that night on night nor do I think it looks good on him it really is like seeing a dog walk on its hind legs

I’m also not a huge fan of the choreo situation. When he performed Aperture at the Brits he was giving Epilogue Harry Potter vibes, and then the latest videos are just kind of weird. I’m not sure how well they’ll translate to tour. Plus LOT was just so iconic… I don’t even know what you do. It’s a bit like Taylor and Eras… where do you go?!

Went over to imdb just out of curiosity, and he hasn't done tit except for music videos since 2022. He's got 1 upcoming project but it looks very tenuous and looks to be in development hell at a glance.
The Marvel movie he was in was Eternals, which underperformed and has been pretty much forgotten. He's maybe got a small cameo ahead in some MCU film, but it'll just be a little fanservice thing most likely.
It’s so discordant for a brand like Harry Styles like he popped back up on Brittany broski and he’s talking about stuff like ‘boy dinner’ which was boring craic even three years ago, then he’s doing SNL then he’s doing like arthouse orchestral lives on YouTube then back to dancing like a Scissor Sister in his new video.
