I kinda hope (probably optimistically!) that Lewis Capaldi taking time away/cancelling things and the support he got for it is a step forward to people seeing that they don’t have to be turning out new stuff or tours CONSTANTLY

ETA: I know other people have done it but I don’t think anyone else has been so open about it and about why? I could be wrong

Harry in some ways seems different to other artists touring. He has spoken openly about he minds himself during touring and seems to have always put his physical and mental health as a top priority ( I imagine this was why there was a slight divide in 1d with Niall being balanced in the middle).
Harry does minimal and very select media and spaced his tour out carefully.
Whereas lewis was being milked to the last with media and appearances.
I think Harry is clever. He's a product essentially and hasn't given much of himself away since 1d days.

Do you think that’s because of how they were treated in 1D? They were worked like dogs in that band with the tours and albums. I think he probably learned a lot from that and that’s why he seems to set his boundaries with social media and as you say, prioritises his physical and mental well-being when he is working.

Definitely I'd say. Even though when you hear interviews from the other boys he seemed to prioritize his mental/physical health in 1d too e.g. went to bed early, ate clean, exercised...but maybe that was towards the end as I'd say he definitely had his wild party days too!
He seems to have really good management too and knows that his following is so loyal. I guess alot of the fans feel they know him intimately that he ultimately doesn't need to do excessive media which protects him hugely in terms of his fame and position taking a toll on his mental health. Like his media Is Definitely not him compared to the likes of Niall Louis and Liam that do constant fan interaction via Twitter, TikTok Instagram. I just think it's so interesting that Harry is so boundaried himself yet his fans (me included) think we know him so well!

I think part of it is that he only really engages with the type of parasocialism you see other artists pushing a lot when he's on stage. He's very lowkey and shy offstage and doesn't post on social media, doesn't really enjoy interviews and doesn't really enjoy going to celebrity events. So the main type of interaction fans get is what he wants to present on stage and he's drawn that boundary for himself between him on stage and him off stage, which I think is a lot healthier for him in comparison to 1d and to other artists like Lewis, Taylor etc who invest in that parasocialism tbh

all three of my harry shows i got medicine!! my heart is so happy! 🤍 the pcd is going to be very real now! hope anyone going tonight or to any of the shows after have the BEST time!! 🤍

I got medicine only once in all my shows but it was so amazing! All concerts have their special moments and I feel like he always manages to make it incredible no matter how many times you go. I feel like tonight’s one is going to be really special, so jealous of everyone there today 🥰 my pcd has been hitting hard since Tuesday

So exciting that he sang Sweet Creature. It’s one of my absolute favourites from him. I can hold out hope that he might sing it on the next tour 🤞

I see so many people writing about this must be the end as he says he needs time out. But you know, they all need time out. He's been touring for ages. He has a Marvel contract and he is a young man. Everybody needs time out. I don't think it's the end, I think it is time to do other stuff, and maybe to just be Harry and go home and go on holiday and all the other stuff.

Took my daughter to wembley this week and cardiff in a few days and I have to say that of all the people I pay out for, this guy is a professional. It's a show. He doesn't need clothes changes, dry ice, nothing. His band are great, and he absolutely has it. I think I have only ever gone to gigs by two other people that actually felt like the real deal rather than just commercial money-making.

I was lucky enough to see Harry on Edinburgh night one. Honestly wish I could do it all over again especially as he's away to be on a break. He certainly deserves one. Really hope if people see him out and about they don't shove cameras in his face so he can enjoy his time off. Say hi but let him chill 🙂

I saw him at slane and i really hope we don't have to wait too long to see him again, though he deserves a break after such a long time touring
