I have a really bad feeling about the finale, I don’t think they’ll kill Catherine off but I have this theory. What if Tommy is being double-crossed by Ryan and he realises it, and decides to kill the boy for revenge and to hurt Catherine? I’m really worried about either Ryan or Clare for the finale. We all know what TLR is capable of. In the trailer you can see him beating someone up who’s on the ground, and there’s also a part where Catherine is breaking down crying. I think that would be really shocking TV.

I love that we don’t know which way it’s going to actually go but wish Sunday would hurry up and come back round.

Shrine was good, there was a bonus episode this week too with the director of the last few weeks episodes of HV and he said the ending was satisfying - I’m taking that to be a good sign.

I also think it may be Darius (or the old man in the house even) who has to sort TLR out as I don’t think I want Catherine or Ryan to be the ones who do it, I also think the bit in the van with him and Darius was quite telling, Darius warned him not to bring trouble to their doors and obviously TLR can’t help himself!

My strike day so far has involved listening to both Shrine episodes whilst having a bath, and then binging Karen Pirie on Britbox - definitely recommend!

A few interesting theories on the latest Shrine ep - the mention of Alison's son being the one who killed Tommy's mum - I'd forgotten all about that connection but it could actually be a pretty big deal

I have also wondered if it could be Clare just because she’s really had a go at her and it takes me back to series one when she gave Kristen a dressing down and told her she wasn’t her mum etc and then felt so guilty after her death. Really hope it’s not and i hope it’s not Ryan or Catherine either

One American police drama I absolutely love and was on All 4 (might still be?) Is The Shield, worth checking out though very different to HV.

I enjoyed Kiri although it seemed to wrap up and conclude too fast with a lot of unanswered questions which was annoying. But it is good.

I don't think Ryan will die. That seems too much trauma to inflict on Catherine. I think Richard could possibly be in trouble. But if anyone dies I hope it is TLR.

I don't like Richard much tbh, like how he rejected Ryan in series 1 and said he wasn't his grandad. I know it involves trauma and complex emotions but he didnt do the right thing.

I’ve never thought they make a believable couple, although I know they’re divorced but was surprised by the casting of Richard.

I don’t think I’d care so much if it was Richard who died tbh. He wasn’t even in S2. I think it would have more of an impact if we lost someone like Clare instead. A genuinely good person who is important to Catherine and has always supported Ryan.

I think Ros has been a pretty pointless character too , other than letting Ryan leave the house which turned out he was fine anyway she hasn't done anything to impact the main storyline, not that I can remember anyway
