The Responder has a similar vibe to HV - exasperated police officer, dark humour, local gangsters, northern actors a-plenty(apart from Martin Freeman, but he does do a convincing Scouse accent)

There was chaos at lunchtime today on Vicar Lane in Leeds where TLR had been seen making his escape from the courts. The road was closed and police rushing everywhere, my first thought was that they’d found him, I’m far too invested

He was the one that beat Jack up on the beach then got pushed down the hill and killed!!I've just watched that and I didn't spot him.

I love the little nods to both shows. Theres a police officer in happy valley who is also in last tango holding baby flora when the nanny is caught speeding.

Someone else had replied earlier so I looked out for him today. I genuinely don't think I'd have recognised him if they hadn't said which character he was! I'm normally quite good at facial recognition but clearly the facial hair was enough to fool me

Yip Bodies is good, filming style to me seems quite different than usual. I got it on DVD years ago, will need to see if it is on iplayer x
