But also this isn’t a conspiracy programme like LOD - there oughtn’t be a big reveal (Neil his Dad or whatever) - it’s Catherine v Tommy and who gets a happy ending, seems to me.

But she's about as angry as you can get & feeling completely betrayed by those supposedly closest to her, so I can see where she's coming from!
I see it entirely and completely agree. But words once said an’ all that. I would be crushed to my core to have that character assassination - it wasn’t just about what she’d done was it. Eeeesh.
The casting of Darius Knezevich kind of feels like a weak link in this program. Nothing about him feels particularly menacing, the dialogue he's given doesn't quite flow and his decisions within the narrative seem quite unrealistic?
No I agree - Not sure what to make of tonight, it feels like there is too much for the final 70 mins.
I really didn’t trust him sending TLR into an unknown house to the guy with the unpronounceable name. If it wouldn’t have ruined the episode, I half imagined Darius doing away with him somehow. He can’t testify if he’s dead. Definitely something significant with the old fella.

I hate TLR so much but I felt a bit scared for the b when he was in that house with the sus old guy carving up some beetroot. Like I know it’s just an old man but it’s not Ashley and some local boys who’ve sold a bit of weed anymore. He’s way out of his depth
TLR sees himself on par with Darius when to Darius, he’s probably more like the two Knezevic lads that broke TLR out. He’s in the same type of setup they were and all. You can see from how he spoke to the old guy and how unimpressed Darius was at his plan to just follow and murder Catherine that he doesn’t have a proper grasp of the situation he’s in.

Clare, Neil, Richard, Daniel, even Ryan (he gets a small pass because he’s a child). But Jesus Christ these lot are thick. You can really see Catherine just on the outside completely baffled by her families actions. They’re all idiots 
I’m still convinced Tommy will die. There’s clearly going to be some big showdown with Catherine/Tommy/Ryan. Probably mirroring the ending of series one on the boat. Except this time Tommy finally dies.
if it’s true about them filming multiple endings then I’d love to see the ones that didn’t make the cut. I hope they release them as little extras after the finale!! they probably won’t but wishful thinking. Would be so interesting to see what other ways it could have ended and then I can pick the one that leaves me the least traumatised

I’m wondering (based on that shot someone posted above of claire & Catherine) if Ryan decides to go with TLR & then, he finds out that TLR is going to kill Catherine first & he then starts trying to fight back as Anne’s words will come back to him - he doesn’t care about Ryan, he’s just using him to get at Catherine.

Only just caught up with this, 8 pages to read this morning, what a treat lol! The whole series has been really clever and well written, I think it will be to obvious that TLR dies and they all live happily ever after!
I'm not sure why, but I've got a feeling that Nev is involved somehow.
I think something might happen to Clare, she’ll try to do something that will impress Catherine and make her see that she is dependable and able to make decisions herself but she’ll end up getting hurt and Catherine will feel awful for what she said to her, I also think only 1 Catherine/Tommy will come out alive. But I am terrible at guessing these things
Happy Valley’s version of will they won’t they is teasing whether or not they’re going to have Richard bumped off by the Knezevics. If he dies, maybe that’ll be what takes them down? Like a big sacrifice? We also haven’t seen Darius’ brother yet and he was referenced as the muscle of the two…
Id equally buy it if it were all for nought and they keep going post-HV regardless of what happens but I need to feel like it’s not been forgotten
