TLR just said Ryan is all he's ever had, but has previously said to Ryan he loved Becky. Hopefully Ryan sees through the lies, I think he is gonna be key in getting Tommy locked back up. He's gonna stab him in the back is Ryan.

Please tell me Ryan is smarter than we think and is getting info out of TLR to tell the police. I hope feeling no one wanted him doesn't drive him into his arms. He loves Catherine, I hope that trumps all.
I know this is a bit non sequitur but did anyone catch that bit about a false racism accusation from Tekkeli (PC plod)? I thought that was a bit of a weird thing to throw in. Was it to explain away a cast member’s absence? It’s not like Tekkeli is significant in the plot at all

Hot off the back of being told he was a cruel trick, not wanted. But he’s thinking. You can see it. He’s heard the psychopath stuff.
They need to make next weeks episode about 4 hours long to tie up all the loose ends !
Wow. That went by super fast! TLR had me on the edge of my seat. Richard is a nob. I thought Daniel was going to break and come out with some devastating family truth. Claire is devastated. Catherine is in no mood for forgiveness.
If anyone can wrap this up in 68 minutes and give us a satisfying ending, I trust in Sally Wainwright to do that.
I think it’s a fine balance to strike between not being predictable/throwing in unforeseen circumstances, laying down red herrings and making things circle back in a satisfying way. I feel like this week’s episode was wobbling on that line a bit too much. I enjoyed it but some of it was bit Eh?
