I thought what she wrote was very well balanced. It is difficult raising a child and working, and yes she has Dan and a childminder so there are two extra pairs of hands around but it’s still stressful and she’s figuring out her work/life balance.

I'm very you do you when it comes to parenting, I have no experience (and don't intend to) but when you're publicly commenting on how it hinders some aspects of your life, it's open to suggestion of changing things up from viewers.
It seems that it is holding her back in certain aspects and so I don't think it's wrong to comment on it. This new "earth mama" trend seems to have influencers losing a bit of control over things in favour of their kids.

But how stressful is it really when she has her partner, her childminder and her employees. I mean she has more help than most people and makes more money than most people.
Her employees and childminder aren’t volunteers, she has to pay them. She’s a freelancer which is an extra pressure to make sure that actually happens. When did it become a contest on who has it harder? I know very rich people, very poor people and people everywhere in between and not one person finds it easy. Just because you’re more privileged doesn’t mean you give away your right to say it’s difficult.

Either post pictures of your kid or don’t post pictures of your kid. Don’t post pictures of your kid with the stupid baby emoji over his face 🙄

I think Hannah has said in the past that she may need more surgery for UC at some point which is likely to make future pregnancies very unlikely, so I guess they don't want to wait around

I find she can often come across as feeling better than you and Dan seems so closed off 😬 even in her labour story she was glad her contractions stayed painless enough so he could finish his game?

Plus I'm feeling petty tonight and her staggered way of speaking really irritates me. I have to watch it sped up but when she played the clip of her talking just after her C-Section she was speaking less 'formally' and it felt so much more genuine.
The board game thing made me crazy! I understand having your own hobbies but the idea my husband would want to finish his game night while I was in labour is laughable. There will be other game nights!

Yes, it reminds me of how MLMs prey on single mothers. I understand Hannah's strategy to a point, but what is she going to be selling to them? When she spoke about sex education at least she had something meaningful to offer, what does she offer now? I don't think parents are going to want to watch a grown woman dance around in her living room in dungarees 🤷‍♀️

Just catching up on some videos now and I really struggle to listen because of the way she talks, it seems like there’s long pauses between each word 🤔
She just. Talks. LIKE. This.

Even when I'm enjoying what she's talking about it's really grating! Her vlogs are generally fine, it's her sit down/ scripted videos that are worse.

So happy for her! Obviously totally up to her but I would love a video to hear her experience of pregnacy and birth with a stoma. Her previous videos on her surgery recovery and life with a stoma seemed to really help people coming to terms with their own stoma and educated people like me on what life is like with one!

Yeah the entitlement is off the charts. People like Hannah live in a bubble and have forgotten the meaning of real work (many of them never knew it to begin with).

Bring on the downfall of the influencer lifestyle, it’s coming.

Wow that vlog! The amount of free shit they get sent yet she is still grifting for a new mattress and freebies from brands she likes, even though saying she can afford it! 🤬 I detest the whole influencer industry. It’s sales.

It's maths day again!

920 patreons on minimum £3 tier = £2760/month or £33,120/year
920 patrons on maximum £8.50 tier = £7,820/month or £93,840/year

Patreon is 16.2% of her income this year
Therefore 1% = min £2,044.44 and max £5,792.59

Thus her annual income is somewhere between £204,500 and £579,250 after taking two months off with pregnancy and three months off with maternity leave and much as I like Hannah... damn, I'm in the wrong job. If she'd worked the full twelve months, that could have been £350k/£990k.

(But I did fuck up the maths first time and give her an estimated max of £1.3m - it's not quite as bad as that!)
Long-time lurker but it was bugging me that nobody had corrected this. I haven’t checked the maths but assuming you are correct I think it’s still important to remember that this is her revenue, not her income. Hannah will be paying rent on her studio, salaries for 2(?) employees, other business costs, tax and her own salary out of the final figure. It’s still absolutely a more than decent wage, but not as outlandish as you’re suggesting. Also her maternity leave won’t be counted in this, as the financial year only runs to April, and she only took leave from April.

Her latest reel…. I’ve had to unfollow. I’m so fed up of her crowbarring “toddler mum” or breastfeeding or her boobs into absolutely everything and her cringe dancing has got too much, stop it Hannah you’re embarrassing yourself

Can’t say I’ve ever been tempted to post photos of me BFing my daughter. I’m massively supportive of women who BF, but it does come across as smug if you’re posting about it all the time.

I think that if she went for a much darker hair colour it would look much bettter for her skin tone - hair and skin colour is very similar and it doesn't do her any favours.

I think she overcompensates too, especially when she posted about how she proposed to him.
I may be projecting, but her and Dan's whole vibe reminds me of the situation I had with my now ex (my son's dad). I really overcompensated for how much he didn't give a shit so I made up this reality where we were so chill and alternative when actually he was just a fucking manchild and I was unhappy.

That reel just was just pure influencer entitlement. No one forces any influencer to make specific content. No one forces them to share struggles. They are all free to make any content they choose. And we are all free to choose what content we are interested in watching. No influencer is entitled to an audience or a well paid living off the back of that audience just because they are putting out content. If no one wants what you’re selling, you don’t go online and complain about it, you go and get another job.

Haha I love this intel … I must say her husband has always come across as though he’s not into her at all, the disinterest is palpable.
