I think Hannah is dedicated to her YouTube-channels as what they are - her work. She made well thought out plans for how her maternity leave was going to go. She seems very smart about the way she works on YouTube, she treats it like actual work and so many influencers could learn from her ways.

Why does she pronounce the word "early" so weirdly? Like "euurgh-lee".

She's not going to be one of those people whose whole personality is breastfeeding, is she?

That was me, btw. I thought I was advocating and trying to break the stigma but the reality was nobody cared.

I think it's something she'll definitely talk about on her channel, but generally I think Hannah is pretty good at being a whole person who just does or has things. She did a lot of stoma content, but I never felt like that became her whole channel. I think she'll probably take the same approach with bf

Judging by the fact she's breastfeeding in at least 5 of her last 9 photos, I'd say so!

If she makes educational content about it then that would be good. I didn’t manage to breastfeed my son at all, but would like to try if I’m able to have another child, so would be a useful resource. To be fair to Hannah, she’s probably just in that newborn baby bubble and isn’t doing much other than breastfeeding at the moment!

Her friend Melanie Murphy made it her whole personality, so she might do too…

As long as she doesn’t become as annoying as Melanie Murphy with breastfeeding it doesn’t bother me
I am surprised she’s posting as much as she is though, I thought she wouldn’t much

I told myself not to post this because I thought I was being a bit of a cow but I have been thinking this.

Maybe it’s more normalised where I live (I never noticed any looks or comments feeding in public), but it feels like overkill. She’s breastfeeding and she want to be doing it, that’s great we get it. She’s not really breaking new ground here. I hope she backs it up with some educational content about it once she’s back on YT. That might actually be useful for people.

Her snuggly photos with baby do make me wistful about those early weeks. I guess she’s probably spending half her life breastfeeding right now so there’s probably not much else to be posting about.

I agree, I have never had children but I think breastfeeding in public (at least where I am in London) seems to be normalised now, maybe not 5 years ago, but pretty much every cafe/library/bustop etc I go to it is a normal thing I have never seen anyone complain etc

Given she's friends Melanie Murphy, I shouldn't be surprised Hannah might also be making it all a bigger deal that it has to be...

Edited as I have realised ^^^ is just what @fallenwinchester5 already wrote, oops! :ROFLMAO:

Hard to tell, the first few weeks after delivery often revolve around breastfeeding so it honestly might just be the only thing going on in her life right now. I really do hope she won't talk as much about it as Melanie did, I generally don't mind stuff like that, but hers was a taaaad bit much.

I think she’s just trying to dip her toe back in and be like lol this is what I’m doing, I think the side feed was interesting as so many people were saying how good they felt after their c sections and the discussion seemed healthy in the comments so I think it’s to be expected, she was open about wanting to try and if it wasn’t working she’d not force it? So she’ll do what she always does and do it in moderation

i suppose if you're intentionally covering baby's face then breastfeeding does half the work for you

Never commented on this thread. Been following Hannah for a few years as I love her sex ed content, don't have any issues with her. I'd noticed she hadn't posted on yt for a while so went to check her insta today.
I am part of a very small minority of mothers who were unable to continue to breastfeed. It was all I wanted during pregnancy but because of the birth, the medication I was on, an unsupportive partner and mental health I stopped 2 weeks in. It's amazing when mum's post about bf especially high profile people as it's a bit taboo in the UK. However, I still suffer from jealousy when seeing mum's do it 'effortlessly'. I know it's amazing and powerful and wonderful but don't make it everything you post 😞💔

Girl, I feel you and I see you. I find breastfeeding beautiful and natural but there is something twisted when I think of the backstage of these pictures taken. Like 'Dan quickly, take a picture of me while I squat and nurse my baby.'

It sounds like you’ve been through a lot. Sending massive hugs your way! Your feeding journey with your baby is nobody’s business but yours. The bond you have is much more than whether you breastfeed for a day, a week, a month or however long.

Am I the only one who thinks the breast feeding posts are just getting a bit boring and repetitive. She’s posted 19 times since having baby and 12 of them are pictures of her breastfeeding or her talking about breastfeeding. I totally get that it’s a huge part of your life when you have a newborn but it’s just a bit dull to never shut up about it…
