I can’t believe they are getting a cottage of this size when they are supposed to be getting married . It makes no sense . Unless he’s being very frugal and imposing big limits on things. I have to wonder why if that’s the case.

I hope he’s not sending money into an offshore trust and ring fencing his assets . His family might be behind that idea if it is correct . He won’t have the brains to think of it .

I honestly thought wow this is it, she’s getting a big house for the future . I’m disappointed. For her sake as well as my own entertainment

I’ve still not watched but you guys are keeping me in the loop buying just for now seems like such an odd choice but I suppose if he does already have property they will just Airbnb/rent this one too? Do we know if it’s going to have Kenny’s name anywhere on it or if she’ll just buy it in her own name, I suppose that might be insurance for her that way. Just seems weird as they’ve done all that work to the house they have now even putting in Hannah’s whole wardrobe room, just to live there for less than two years? I wonder if there is something else going on under the surface?

I’ve not watched her vlog yet but I am already annoyed if she is just buying a cottage in the Cotswolds for the time Kenny is away. Why not rent or even stay with her parents, she seems not to do well without them (or someone with her at least, didn’t her and Kenny move in together during lockdown?)? I think influencers have truly lost touch with the real world posting as if it’s normal to just buy a house for the next year. I could sort of understand if they didn’t have other properties and just wanted to make the first step on the housing ladder, but clearly they do?! I’ll go and watch to make sure I’m not unjustly having a go at her, though…

100% this. I never like house hunting content because I'd rather forget about the stress of buying a house It's clear this just a little part time house or her to be close to her parents. In this economic climate that's a million miles away from 99% of people's reality.

I couldn’t be doing with keep putting my efforts into small houses when she’s at a time in her life and he is earning adequately to buy the bigger forever home.

Kenny is probably in the top 0.05% of earners . Good for him I say . What I don’t get is why he’s messing about with small houses . Does he come from a tiny house and he feels what she’s looking at is suitable or are his parents controlling him and advising him to limit what she might be able to take I marriage , is he tight fisted ?. Does he have doubts and he’s limiting things … maybe he doesn’t want to be forever in Cotswolds (is he from a city originally?) . There’s more to the story than meets the eye - it just doesn’t make sense

He can afford to buy two homes . I have no gripe at all it’s his money . He’s earnt the money and he needs to do something with it .

the mistake he’s making is a wealthy person buying a home to live in is different to a wealthy person buying for the return on investment.

he’s doing a weird hybrid of the two things . It makes no sense .

either buy cheap, buy plenty and do them up on a budget and get biggest return on investment or buy a bigger home forever and move in do it up as you please with all comforts . It’s a mistake to hybrid the two . It’s not a business

If they intend to live there forever close to her parents , bringing up children possibly then why not buy a bigger place ? I’m just shocked tbh ! . Maybe Kenny really doesn’t want the Cotswolds but she’s been nagging and he’s offered to buy a small place to shut her up ?

He got his job in Thailand playing football, and so literally after moving to Cheshire to be with him, he’s now off. So she’s had a big old strop, asked where that leaves her, what’s she meant to do etc etc, so they’ve agreed she can have a house to play around with in the Cotswolds whilst he’s away so that she has something to do/focus on, and be near to mummy and daddy etc… she probably gave him some sort of ultimatum so this is his way of keeping her happy. But she’s not been given a huge budget. I imagine it will go on the list of air bnb’s like Josie’s two cottages..

Air bb needs running though. This place is a bit nice for a long term let but they don’t seem bothered about return.

maybe she’s narrow minded and genuinely happy with this.

I also thought this was it - she's getting her forever home in the Cotswolds. However, Kenny was probably not going to agree to buy a very expensive property he didn't get to see himself and they can't wait to buy until he gets back as clearly Hannah just can't live on her own and wants ho be near her parents. This is the compromise.

In a recent video, Kenny was quick to point out that their current house is HIS house. Is this his house too? She should get her name on some paperwork as there is no sign of a wedding happening any time soon! I thought she might have got it done in Vegas!

In a Q&A a while back, Kenny seemed non-committal about moving to the Cotswolds long-term. What's she going to do if he decides he wants to move back to Australia once he finishes playing football?

I'm sure it'll all work out for her in the end. She lives such a charmed life. I think she had a meltdown over him being away, so he agreed to buy her this stopgap house to keep her happy/occupied.

She could have got it done in Vegas and still had a ceremony in the UK at a later date...Would have been the smart thing to do! I've always wondered if Kenny is truly committed - but she seems sure of him. After all, he's her BEST FRIEND!

with my age has come experience . It’s very hard to be sure of anyone or anything in life imo . He just never comes across on camera as if he’s really committed .

Anything could happen. He's a footballer at the end of the day and they don't have the best reputation for being faithful. I wonder if she ever worries about that with him living so far away, but then it doesn't look like there's much going on in the way of nightlife where he is.

I think she would absolutely fall apart if things don't work out with them. To me they never seem very happy or loved up on camera although I'm aware aware their relationship might be different off camera. She's been filming him for a long time now though and he's always seemed this way - a bit disinterested, a bit non-commital when answering questions about long-term future.

He really seems to be her life apart from the dog. In a sense she seems very naive . She would be lost without her relationship. I’d imagine it would knock her sideways .

Her parents can’t be that old to be worrying about passing money to her for the sake of her security. Not yet … surely ? Obvs we are all guessing here , it will be time until we know .

I think it’s Kenny’s money and will be in his name. We will see! It’s so easy to check upon in time .

I think Kenny is definitely involved in the purchase. She consulted with him on it and said 'we' when talking about taking next steps, putting in an offer etc. If Hannah was buying this house on her own, I think she would say so. She'd say how proud she was of herself that she was able to do this - just like she did when she bought her car.

She's always implied that their current house was a joint purchase, but it's not - Kenny bought that house. I think the same probably goes for this house.

Does anyone know how much the places she's looking at cost? I'd check on Rightmove but don't have enough knowledge of the area to narrow down the search.

You can get a small 2-3 bed detached for about 425k with character . I’d guess property no 1 however with the size garden might be more like 460k .

a lot depends on the area . The prices I’ve quoted buy a place grade 11 listed or not but old with character within about 13 miles of daylesford . If she went much further afield she might get something equivalent for a bit less . The prices I’ve quoted would be a starting point price wise . The prices aren’t astronomical imo . Yes Cotswolds is lovely but there are downsides in as far as you need to consider daily needs and wants . Imo being close to daylesford with its walks food and gym/classes /pilates is more ideal for Hannah. I get the feeling the parents are probably more like an 45-50 mins from daylesford . Which is not commutable imo on a regular basis . I think she will go near ish to her parents . But that might end up as a mistake. They seem to keep moving plus does that area give what she needs .

Since found the listing for house no 1 ! Now from what she said this seems to be her fave imo …. It’s 700k . She says there’s a few hundred thousand difference between house 1 and 2 .

She’s certainly looking at expensive 3 beds! . This one is half an hour from daylesford . I always think a 20 min drive is ideal but half an hour is doable I guess .

I think he’s said “look at 3 beds” not dreaming she would go for the most expensive 3 beds with outbuildings possible go Hannah!!!!

It’s new to market so she’s timed it bad! The market isn’t hot , not even in the Cotswolds unless it’s a unique mega mansion.

I think it’s very overpriced . Owners new to market trying their luck to start with.

a major drawback is there’s only 2 beds in the main house . The third bedroom is on a separate outbuilding !. Which surely isn’t any good?

she needs a room then her wardrobe room has got to be in the main house ideally upstairs …. If she fell pregnant then what then?! Maybe move yet again , which might be Hannah’s sneaky plan for a bigger house .

hannah just bag the most expensive three or two bed and worry about the rest later
