I don’t understand why it’s so hard for her to parent. There are so many things she could stop doing to give herself more time to rest or even prep to make life with a disabled child easier. Stop endlessly taking photos, making reels, promoting crap, glamming yourself up, going to to the salon etc etc. My children don’t have special needs and I don’t have time to do all that stuff! If I get a minute of down time I’m thinking about what I can do next to make their lives run smoothly so they don’t have to see mummy having a break down to film for the gram… give up the gram and parent your kids Grecian

Pretty sure it’s a full ENT thing - tonsils and adenoids out, grommets in and also a bronchoscope I think, checking out the damage from years of aspirating everything she drank. Eyebrows was furious the date they were given for the surgery was in the middle of this trip down the road to the caravan park and, after many ranting stories about how no one would call her back, don‘t they know shes a #medicalmama, had it all rescheduled it for later in the year.

Absolutely life changing surgery! It makes so much difference. I can’t even begin to imagine how good kids feel afterwards (once they recover from the surgery!). As someone said, I get postponing if they had some grand holiday to Disney planned. But for this? They could go anytime!! I’d be cancelling everything and rushing in.
My daughter is due to have the same surgery too (she’s had grommets before) and we’ll be lucky if we get in for surgery before mid-next year (and that’s private). It sucks seeing your kids suffer, who would want to prolong that?
