I think if she actually took a minute to realise how sick and delayed Riley was before conceiving her “healing” baby, Grecian never would have done the final round of IVF and capitalised on Riley’s situation for the gram. I’m sure Grecian is dying inside that she isn’t at the hospital to take the maximum Riley in hospital bed attention seeking pics

Funny how Riley’s “biggest advocate” who “constantly fights for her” hasn’t been the parent to take her to hospital either this time or the last… this Mumma needs to be with the “baby” more apparently!
She’s absolutely frothing that after not doing anything proactive for two years, finally it’s reached a crisis point with a <rolls eyes> Friday afternoon ED presentation and the possibility of an NG tube - finally she’s made it to elevated Medical Mumma status!
She’s not been thickening Riley’s fluids, as recommended by the speech pathologist she last saw months ago, (how do I know? because she’s never mentioned it again and lord knows it doesn’t take a lot of time but it’s “different” enough that we’d have never heard the end of it if she actually was doing it!), she’s not bothered trying to get her to drink from anything other than those stupid cups with straws they ALL drink through (drinking thickened fluids through a straw is not easy, actually difficult with thickened fluids, especially if the person has swallowing difficulties) or used reward charts or done anything other than videoing herself literally wrestling with Riley.
Forgive this public health speechie who’s sick to death of people blaming the public health system and those of us who work within it for letting them down while refusing to implement recommendations for whatever reasons they deem more important than the health of their person… laziness, Munchausen’s-by-proxy, prioritizing getting more followers to watch them posing in weird shackets and awful-bike-pants-that-need-to-be-burned…

As a mama whose LO has had some issues with eating solids we have had so much progress after getting a public speechie to help us. So thank you!

As for Grecian she is a lost cause. I just hope Riley gets someone like you on her side and helps where her Mother can’t or won’t

One week in hospital IS a short stay for a kid with so many issues Grecian.
Finally someone's taking her child's health seriously how about thinking why did you & your equally negligent husband ignore all the red flags for so long. But hey, look at my outfit of the day..

Probably setting up her cameras to capture another dramatic shot of herself rolling around on the floor in her 'rawr & reel' distress. I know looking after a child with a disability or on going illness is hard & distressing but the way this woman behaves is not normal.

Darling Riley should have been taken into ED well before she was. She hasn't been eating or drinking in weeks and living off nothing. Any normal parent wouldn't need a gp to tell them they need to get their malnourished and dehydrated child down to ED asap. I guess it's not dramatic though and she needed to work

I want to say something to her but she will only use it to get herself attention and sympathy. I hope someone directs her to this thread. This is not normal behaviour for a mother of a sick and/or disabled child. I am deeply worried for Riley. I can’t even hate follow Grecian.

That is absolutely disgraceful as a mother that she let her child get to this point!!! She should have been getting fed via tube long before this point. I wonder if a child admitted for long term starvation has to be reported for potential child abuse. I would be interested to know how mandatory reporting works in WA. I am not even being dramatic when I say that I think this child has genuinely been exploited and a case should be opened for neglect

I’m just also in disbelief her child has been in starvation mode, how have her and her husband let this happen, and it’s them who’ve let it happen, they haven’t pushed for Riley at all, everyone could see there was issues with her years ago that they were just writing off as being premature. She’s been too busy with trying to have her “healing baby” and then playing favourite with this one, playing dress ups in weird clothes, selling crap products and her hair and eyebrows.

If you look at the ‘Riley’ highlight, she totally contradicts herself by saying they weren’t listened to. They actively took her to a couple of speech and OT appts when she was really young so they knew something was up. She also states that they have the option to see a private neuro NOW which they didn’t do. They opted to see the public one who then lost their paperwork etc. I know from experience how exy private specialist are for kids, but it’s just not an excuse. You make it work or I guess your child ends up in starvation mode at the ED.
An absolutely disgrace
