Ooh. Ro is quite annoying. The speaking in Gaelic is a bit of an ick 😬
yeah there was no need for it, just seemed like showing off and being a 'pick me'.

I'm glad Caz won, she did the most in the transformation, and her ribcage dress was great.

Beth is my favourite too. I think she's been judged harshly for her designs being a bit 'safe'. But the execution is always exquisite.

Was it mean I laughed at who went out? 🤭 She 100% thought she was safe.
No I was pleased, I feel she’s a bit full of herself and the fit wasn’t good. her vocal fry does my head in.

She was down on both the previous challenges. I like Emma

Like others here, I found Orla’s doll genuinely scary. She also came up with a good back story for the character.
Kit just did a simple copy of a scarecrow from Dr Who.
There is no way those two costumes were equal winners.
This is my first year watching the show, and I’m enjoying it. But it sounds like I should go back and watch the earlier series too.

I'm glad he went after his attitude tonight but my head says Caz should have gone. Im quite surprised they chose Kit actually after weeks of consistency. Maybe they thought he was getting too cocky
I think in recent series' it's mostly based on the performance that week, despite past achievements. Especially when it gets to the later episodes in the series. Yes he has been most consistent but his made to measure was bad, the back was wonky, it was unfinished and the beaded trim looked tacky.

I gasped at his audacity when doing the plus-fours, saying he knows how to do trousers and doesn't need to follow the pattern. I just don't think he hears how arrogant he comes across 😅

Kit is very talented but I find myself rolling my eyes every time he wins a challenge. Orla’s was miles better and should have been sole garment of the week.

It was definitely Gaynor’s time to go as I felt she should have gone weeks ago but she’s so lovely and Esme’s dislike for her was really obvious this episode.

Honestly Don came across as lovely, it was nice to see an older man embracing new techniques and not panicking if it didn’t work! Gutted he left this week

Did make me laugh a bit when Rebecca said she hoped this would show anyone with a disability they can do it: they had a woman with one hand on years ago love.
It may well have been the edit/production encouraging it, but the whole ‘disability’ speech just felt a bit forced/unnecessary.

Perhaps it’s a sign I’m getting too long in the tooth but it feels too many shows insist on disabled/lgbt/minorities being a *thing* rather than the individual just showcasing their talents & personalities instead.

I'll say straight off I like Anna and she's turned in some terrific work, but I do think she's slipped back of late and also that some of her designs are a bit one trick pony with regards to her personal style and influences.

As a rule I largely agree with the judges, but this series I'm finding it hard to second guess what they're going to decide. Ideally a blend of superb sewing and creativity, but when they have to choose one over the other, which way are they going to go?

I'd like Beth to win at the moment.

I am glad that Kit has gone. He seemed to think he was invincible 🙄. His transformation was not the best. No more smug faces. Yasmins dress was so well made and fitted.

I’m glad Kit got his comeuppance, could not stand his smug little face! I did not think his transformation was good at all, it was just him playing teachers pet but there’s no creativity in just copying someone else’s design. I did think Caz was going though.

One thing that I don’t think the judges commented on was Orla’s waist seam - it was so wonky!

Oh I disagree with who went out.
I think Esme shows blatant favouritism toward one contestant, who though very good, has recently continually overstretched herself and made quite bad errors.
They can't keep saying 'oh but she shows so much ambition' when she keeps failing to execute it half way decently.

Rebecca is annoying me now despite being such a clever sewer. When they were given the swimming trunks challenge why did she neec to say that she doesn't know how to make a garment for a man?

Gaynor should have made a little white petal cap with a green stalk to go with the snowdrop outfit. Would have looked adorable.
This is where Gaynor struggles, she follows the brief but has a limited imagination. Fabulous sewing skills, mind.
I liked the name dropping this week; Patrick saying he has been to Elton John's house for dinner a couple of times then Esme casually mentioning that she knew Zandra Rhodes.

What is it about Kit that is so irritating?
Smugness, and he's become the judges' pet. They have one every year and they always end up annoying. Plus, his mouth makes me feel a bit ill.

I thought they were a bit harsh on Gaynor's M2M. Yes, it was fairly simple, but she got it all finished in time, it fit, it was on brief and her mini model even seemed to like it. You could tell Kaz's model liked her outfit as well.
