Absolutely, the scripting of the reactions is becoming more obvious and in particular when they have clearly said to one person ‘can you read this quick recap?’ for exposition on what’s happened which they then do in the least natural way possible. See also the cringey clips of them all pointing the remotes at the TV… Giles does it like he’s never used one in his life

Glad there’s a Scottish lot on the show finally. I wish they’d get rid of Ellie & Izzy and their constant parroting each other.

WTF was up with the fake little skit by the brother and sister from Blackpool at the start are they trying to get a GCSE in drama! Also that ‘joke’ (wrong number?) has been done on so many sitcoms you could see it coming a mile away.

Programs haven’t been great e.g the Haunted Hospital was laughably funny but they were all OTT screaming

I used to really find Pete and Sophie so irritating. But I like them now. They both seem calmer and funnier.

Mica and Marcus try too hard to be quirky now.

I googled this when he said it… Gogglebox only started March 2013 so 9 years ago exactly and he was still with his ex when they started on it together (can’t remember if they were on it from the very start but I think they were?) anyway the dates don’t add up

Weren't Stephen and Chris just friends after breaking up? So he was probably with his husband around then too.

Yeah, I think they were still a couple when it started though? I remember it being reported when they broke up, and reported that they were gonna stay on it as friends

Last night there was too much reaction to This Is Going To Hurt at the pivotal moment, it was obvious what had happened immediately (I haven't watched it) yet we were subjected to constant cuts of over the top 'EH WHATS HAPPENED? WHATS GOING ON?'
