I don’t believe that hope house charity is even real (the newly set up one). I had to say it but the woman running it seems completely bizarre… and if Melanie really wanted to raise money for them, why not direct people to the charities fundraiser rather than setting up a new one? How does she keep track of them all?

Agreed , it’s not registered that’s for sure . Again , no proof as to where the monies they collect is going . Like attracts like I guess.

Has anyone seen the Hardy Family on TikTok? They're fundraising to adapt their house for their little girl but they're constantly on TikTok all day doing live battles and asking for money. They have a gofundme but get money from TikTok lives too. I assume they're genuine but also something doesn't sit right either.

I’m not sure I’d be able to even get out of bed if my son was dying/died, let alone ask people for money.

I read this whole thread yesterday after coming across it via the Ashley Cain threads.

What I don’t understand and wondering if there are any legal bods know, is why these GFM scams are not considered illegal / fraud? There must be some legal technicality because other scams defrauding people are illegal aren’t they?

I know some GFMs are cheeky like the IVF one or the Disney holiday for a family who just can’t afford it themselves, but at least they are transparent and if people still choose to donate to them then it’s up to them.

I saw PP say that they will only donate to justgiving because it goes direct to charity but you still have to be careful with them, because they now also have a crowdfunding option that goes direct to whoever it’s for. So please still read carefully. I only realised this when I saw one set up for Hollie Dance/Archie Battersbee with ‘emergencies’ as the category!

I remember this, this was when I was appalled that TAF had only given £8.5k when all other kids received £10k, I was furious that they didn’t offer the remaining £1.5k at least or better still fund it weekly/monthly as the mother claimed she was stable (it was working)
I don’t know if anybody remembers on Cain thread but I was very vocal
In how, TAF should be continuing to donate as this is why we originally all donated to Azaylia, to save a child’s life.

In the previous post where I added all those attachments she says that they want to get onc206 but it costs more . Then I just found this earlier … she says she WAS on both together . Mmm not happening that way sorry . Also added the one where she says aria isn’t going on trials as they are too costly . Onc is a clinical trial . Then the post saying aria doesn’t need anything yet a few weeks later the brother was fundraising for a skydive to keep her comfortable. Mehhhhhhh . I guarantee if she didn’t read tattle she would be fundraising for funeral costs.

So when I was doing the looksy a few weeks back and found the people that donated medicine to Arias mum , they had a page set up for their kid that passed from DIPG . It now has that same name yet has had Hope House added to the end . It’s a private residence not an actual hospice . Now not saying these people are not legit etc but it’s not a true registered hospice . It’s all messy and unprofessional in their posts , kind of like a mix between a personal page and trying to raise money for … I still can’t work it out . Tutoring ? Anyways , they moved into a dream house that they are or were trying to renovate for their daughter yet also as a hospice. I really can’t make it out properly so yaknow what that means
