I was amused that their version of communism involved other people bankrolling them but yes if they are being honest it's less bad. I still think there is a problem around parasocial "friendships" and people believing or hoping their money ingratiate them to someone who they like and admire. Icky imo

I really wasng sure about posting this because it’s just so tragic. Did anyone see that an influencer called nurse Hailey died due to complications in childbirth? Very tragic and really rare complication that couldn’t be prevented. Obviously awful for everyone who knew her. And of course a gofundme was set up straightaway by a friend for her husband. But it’s over $400,000 now and the husband himself is still sharing how to donate stories and the donation link is even on Hailey’s own private account and in his own bio. I know the guy must be going through a difficult time but this level of grifting is something else. He’s even saved stories about donating into a highlights section

I looked at one of the videos he posted. There was part of it where she's in labour. Since she passed away possibly not long after giving birth, maybe keep that private. In saying that, my heart goes out to him navigating parenthood without his wife. They had to have IVF too

Her friend has said on her video she has done that they have set up a go fund me so I think it has been set up legit

This GFM has been set up by family & friends of Rachel Langley/Booth that was found dead at the weekend after going out for a run at 3:30am, bought milk/wine then vanished. They want the money for trust funds for her children and a bit to charity.
What was the situation? Did she fall/ have an accident or end her own life?

Highly recommend having a look at the Triplets in Cornwall thread. Woman with triplets who’s from a fairly affluent middle class background has done at least 3 previous crowdfunders (for a car, a dishwasher, to rent a house when she’d already been offered a council house etc) is now begging for money to pay about 10 grand for repairs on her camper van. Her mum and dad both live in big houses and she refused to get a job (she’s a trained teacher) for months before getting into supply a couple of days a week. She’s such a scammer.

Has she said the repairs are 10k? I havent heard her mention the cost just shes wants money to pay

I appreciate its down to interpretation but the wording used makes me think they still have control of the funds.

“we still have money in the kitty… that GOSH use”

rather than say ‘they still have money’ if it had all been passed over to them.

Yeah I cn see that its worded like tht. The ppl she mentions alana etc are the play team at GOSH so she is directing ppl.to them for requesting new toys.

It's confusing .... lots of things seem to only mention her....not "the couple".

This ss relating to the foreign office, could be a response to a question about her as an individual, so they only responded in relation to GH?

I’ve still got the link to the various charities who do funding and places to get the cheaper version knock offs if it’s of any help. Not sure how you message on here but happy to pop them over if able!
we ended up paying £200 for a knock off version of a McLaren so saved about as much as we spent x

What is there to know? She already documented problems with sepsis etc at the time. do they want to know every last detail of his final moments? And that is not even completely off limits to her, just not yet.
