Local eliminators for local people

eta - good point though.
I heard they move people down from the upper tier to fill any gaps in the lower one as the day goes on and the audience tap out
They did that a lot in the Sky version too. In the new upcoming American Gladiators series, it was filmed in France and they paid the audience to stay for filming when it got late in the day.

It’s almost like they are trying to end the series.
I said the same. If the rumours about the cut gladiators are true, and the new names which to be honest are all terrible...... and

the fact they have gone from 5 events to 4

It is like they are trying to finish the show off!

'Stand by my people' I wonder if someone else is getting the boot and he didn't agree with them?

Just caught up in last night's episode (missed it due to all the rugby) and am happy to see Andy gone...but more happy to see Joe and Aneila in the semis as fastest runners up.

I thought it was a great final! Although did anyone else think there was something up with Phantom’s leg in Unleash?
Apparently he was injured. So many injuries this series. Legend, Diamond, Athena, Fury and Bionic. I think there might have been someone else as well.

Is anything actually taboo anymore? I feel like everything is spoken about quite freely and sometimes too freely. Again the mainstreaming of porn isn’t great. Sorry I’m correcting myself - it’s actually taboo not to have an only fans these days.

I watched an episode on the dodgy tv box with the kids.

It is soooooo bad! Everything you expect from an American version of a show.
It’s like they threw the original concept in a blender and added a heap of American flag stars.
Also the commentary is delivered at an excessive volume, like the commentators are being chased themselves.

The Glads have zero personality

The kids only want to watch for the cringe factor

I watch it with my 6 year old and I really enjoy it. It’s very much aimed at kids but it’s quite fun seeing the gladiators be a bit less serious and just have some fun. Nitro is a brilliant host on it.
Yes I’d agree, my kid LOVES it and even though it’s got to be scripted, it’s good fun!

Thought we’d end up going as we’re fans. Turns out Mr Owl is front row level of fan

I totally agree - I am irrationally angry at the fact that she was given assistance and didn’t acknowledge it or concede the victory 🙄 I wonder if Nicola even knew that it had happened 💁🏻

Other than that, I loved it - such fun and easy watching and even Joe Wicks was reasonable considering he usually annoys me 🤣
Yeah I cant stand Joe or Sam, but neither annoyed me as I expected
