Also noticed that bbc had done an investigation into how some agencies are exploiting womem on OF and basically being digital pimps, complete with threats to personal safety if did not go along with what they wanted.

Not a good time to launch a career as an agent.

Nitro has posted a video of him in the gym with viper. Viper off duty is actually a really good looking guy with a lovely smile. I dont know how he doesn't crack up on set having to play the bad guy.

I saw that video yesterday and I just thought he was so handsome and his smile really changes his face. Wait...am I getting a crush on Viper? I think so!

If he wants to put his money where is mouth is, he should launch a free online fitness program for kids.

That is actually a really good idea.

The Glads/Strictly Pros sometimes go on Morning Live to demonstrate a little fitness routine for the audience to copy at home at the end of the show. The one show sometimes has bits about different sports groups that people won't know about.

They do stuff for adults to watch, I don't know why they don't do similar stuff for kids.


They could demonstrate short 10-15 minute bits that kids could follow at home, or do bits about healthy food or different sports people could try.

So did I, when they were both introduced I was like, I don’t know who I want to win. That was solved for me later in the episode through when neither of them did

I saw Giant at a Forest game in early February with this lady. I’d actually assumed she was his daughter until I saw his hands on her bum and I was disturbed.

Fire looked devastated after Diamonds injury - even though obviously want on purpose you’d feel so guilty.

Anyone else think that the contenders just seem nicer this series? Less cocky.

I’m sure the other Gladiators will miss him, but I doubt it’s their biggest concern right now they start filming in about 2 weeks, they’ll be doing last minute training and travelling up to Sheffield I imagine

I’m sure the guy that plays Steel said they can refuse certain events. He said he wouldn’t do Unleashed for example because he has a dodgy ankle? Something like that.

I think the OG gladiators were allowed to go harder. Gauntlet doesn’t work in the new series because the Glads are barely allowed to pin the contenders before Mark yells release at them.

Who here thinks that Amanda could be the Eunace Huthart of our time? What a legend she was!!

She would be amazing if she came back. I think the Gladiators liked her as well. She seemed respected by them.

Hammer was a PT at my local gym for yearsssss

He and a guy he worked closely with had a horrible reputation for belittling women/ making women feel very uncomfortable

My friend actually left the gym because of his behaviour. Apparently they used to make a game of getting as many womens numbers as possible in the gym while also pointing/ laughing at them. When I joined the gym with my bf a couple of years after this, in the sign up process I mentioned this to the sales guy who said he knew about it and has heard it from other women, but not to worry because the two PTs in question were probably moving on soon (they stayed for a good while after that...)

Anyway it's put me right off Gladiators which my 5 year old quite likes, because I've realised the majority of them are probably douchey PTs underneath the BBC facade

I think Nitro, Phantom and Steel seem like nice lads and competed in the Olympics so I'm not sure they would be as arrogant as others (despite literally being elite athletes). Fire came over well on Strictly from what I saw and I think Fury seems a really lovely kind girl.

Diamond gives off "bitch" vibes and Sabre has become more annoying I think.

Don't feel like we see much of Comet and Athena compared to the other girls

Ah I like Bionic. I saw him on a news report when he talked about the injuries he had as a teenager and why he went into strength training. He seemed like a really nice chap. Wish he’d ditch the peroxide blonde though.
