Really enjoyed this week's show. I am a big fan of Viper ( there are literally 10s of us), and it was great seeing him get a win and get to be 'King Viper'.

Enjoyed it too! As mush as I miss Legend competing, it's allowing more focus on Cyclone and Viper as the big characters 'baddies' and they are really rising to it!

And then contestant wise it was Amanda (Series 2 winner), Bronte, Mus and Lewis. Amanda was outstanding! My child is very, very shy and goes selectively mute when she meets people she doesnt know, Amanda got her laughing and smiling and she actually spoke to them! It made me very teary! This warmed her up for meeting the gladiators, and they were all fantastic with her! Legend was ace with her, you can tell which glads have kids. They knew what to do!

Well two miraculous things happened in this weeks ep - Viper won ANOTHER event and he made me laugh by calling the contender “little baker boy”.

Re gladiators being tall and big - I guess that’s the point? The average height of the 90s glads was 6ft. The outliers who were shorter were cobra, wolf and rhino. But they were built like brick shit houses. I’m kind of enjoying normal contenders because last season everyone was a gym owner.

Hunter did a podcast talking about his time on gladiators - I’ve only caught snippets but it was quite interesting. While filing the glads would have no idea what event they were going to do. They’d just get a bite under their dressing room door saying “hunter - wall or Hunter-pyramid” so they didn’t really have a lot of time to prepare.

I really like Fury. She's good at the games and supportive to the contestants. I think she's a good, positive role model for the young uns with her lobe of so many sports (and of course as a representation of deafness on prime time TV) and she comes across well on other shows too. It made me sad that she lost her dad recently. I felt for her as I lost a parent young too, especially as she said he should've been there to watch her on Strictly at xmas.

Absolutely agree! I like that they didn't try to get her to put on a fake smug persona, she's just herself, a sporty, strong and extremely likeable Northern lass! If she was in the 90s version of the show she's the one I'd have wanted to be

She also made some very bizarre comments about men who are pictured in the same PJs as their families in that they should be sent to the army to ‘toughen up’. She doubled down on those views when challenged just like she has done with the AI post.

I do like her as a Gladiator as she’s really good at the events and has a good character but I’m going off her, to be honest. The old army trope mentioned above needs to die.

I saw that video yesterday and I just thought he was so handsome and his smile really changes his face. Wait...am I getting a crush on Viper? I think so!

I’ve just been to have a nose. For me, I’m not a fan of the long hair so when it’s tied back he automatically gets more points from me.
But also he looks good in the outfit! Hes definitely a ‘grey sweats’ guy.
Whereas conversely, legend does nothing for me til you put him in metallic Lycra.

I followed Jamie's wife for a while, she seemed like a decent sort with her head screwed on. She was dissolving her filler, I think, which was quite a big deal as she was, at some point, a beautician who did that kind of work. She seemed quite engaged in perimenopause management. I stopped following her as she showed some signs of being a bit of a conspiracy theorist and that's not my cup of tea, but overall she seemed really sweet. I hope she finds happiness, and karma serves Jamie. What a fool he is.

Just seen that Sabre has started using AI on her IG posts and is considering it 'free will' when people call her out on it. Considering she prides herself on being someone girls can look up, I find it disappointing she's resorting to using AI slop to enhance her photos.

I can’t see it anymore so will assume it’s gone.

Most of the male Gladiators appear to have wives/girlfriends judging by their personal accounts. Phantom and Apollo appear to be a little less clear, but that’s fine, as they’re both my future husbands so I can live a bigamous life living with one one half the week and then the other the other half of the week. From the female team, it’s only really Fury and Comet that I’ve seen showing off their partners on their personal pages. In Comet’s case, she’s totally obsessed with her fiancé and it’s quite nauseating.

I really liked Sabre in the first series, she was probably my favourite female Gladiator, but as time has gone on, I've gone off her. She seems really cocky, always wants the camera on her and some of the other female Gladiators are much better at the events than she is...I guess because they're not all just preening and posing.

Looking forward to series 3!

No but I weirdly had a dirty dream about him last night. I have been taking magnesium to help me sleep and usually ir gives me nightmares but lately its giving me sex dreams. Last night Apollo was in it and I have no idea why cos I havent seen his posts or even thought of him. Anyway in the dream I was psyching myself up because he was huge

This is why his contract was not renewed. All of this in the pipeline.

He should definitely change it. The gladiators are all over things marketed to children, all he needed to do was not link his gladiator profile with OF. Once he was doing that the position became untenable.
I thought he shouldn't have been one in the first place with the knowledge of his steroid use being public too. It's not good for a role model in a world where kids could get all this information very easily.
