Not sure if been mentioned here but the winner of the Edinburgh best comedy performance award was a TiM whose act was a 'hilarious' account all about their humiliating experience in a female changing room

Sex Matters has filed a case over the “single-sex” Hampstead Ponds against the City of London.

Was just reading The Times reporting on it https://archive.ph/XHtKK

Its gonna be tough for London Corporation to defend given there is a mixed sex space. I have a feeling this will be another law of unintended consequences for the TRA's, Sex Matters and their reps know how to win cases

I've been GC for years and I still do not understand it - why do men want to think of themselves as women and want others (mainly women) to indulge them in their fantasy?
I can see many aspects of it - transing away the gay, misogyny and misperception of women, sissy porn, not identifying with male stereotypes etc etc - but I still don't understand it.
I've kinda given up trying to understand it tbh as there is no sense or logic to it, trans ideology is without foundation, a case of ✨feelings✨ over facts or biology.
Sex is immutable and biological men have no place in women's safe spaces - it really is that simple.
Misogyny, and a backlash to feminism and women's increasing rights and influence.

Men have defined what women are, what we want, what we think and how we feel since time immemorial, and controlled us through marriage as ownership, forced motherhood and domestic servitude, via the Church, by keeping us out of the workforce and so on. In the West, they can't do those things openly anymore, so they've redefined womanhood as theirs to inhabit, and branded our resitance as bigotry.

It's the most insidious backlash against feminism yet: it doesn’t just limit women’s rights, it dissolves the category of women altogether, making feminism incoherent - and this is the goal. If “woman” means anyone who says the word, then the specific oppression of women as a sex class BY MEN vanishes in theory, but not in practice. The abuse, the violence, the inequality all remain, except now men get to paint themselves as victims, as all abusers eventually do. Add pornography into the mix and you end up where we are, with men declaring themselves lesbians.

I do think that effeminate gay men who have historically been transsexuals have a different relationship with the concept of being transgender, rooted in homophobia, but the current iteration we're seeing is something entirely different and driven by men's pure hatred of and desire to posess women.

Was thinking about this when there was reporting on Victoria McCloud (1st trans judge) during the week. If TWAW then why is this significant, a woman won the Edinburgh comedy award years ago. When a trans woman achieves something before a woman its reported as the first woman and subsequent actual women aren't fetted. Why are they only different when they get extra plaudits for being the first

Wakefield news is a piss-take, yes, but the person they've named as Gabrielle Martini is Gabrielle Darone, aka 'Princess Mom'. Screenshots from 2020.

Edit: found some more. He joined a Facebook support group for grieving mothers. The women who objected to his presence and his requests to breastfeed someone else's child were banned.

I really cannot say what I think because I'll get banned no doubt but this is utterly sickening. I'm also assuming that when he refers to 'Dom' he means Domperidone which is prescribed to breastfeeding mothers whose milk levels have decreased. This is especially prevalent in NICU mums that need to pump milk as the babies are too poorly to breastfeed. Domeperidone does carry a lot of side effects including some related to heart. This can be transferred to the baby. Ultimately, I decided not to take it after being prescribed it because my baby did have heart issues. I ended up with permanent nerve damage in my left breast from over pumping as I was desperate to do something for my child and give her the best food I could. I ate a specific and very healthy diet to aid that. Men have no idea of what that is like. Also, why would any sane person consider taking unnecessary meds and leech the supply needed for genuine cases. Every time I think I've heard it all, something more depraved comes along. I wonder, are there sharks or lions short on food?

This does my head in. I've been doing lots of reading about women and early electronic music - women pretty much invented electronic music. There's a TiM called Wendy Carlos who wrote a lot of electronic film scores before transitioning, and he gets celebrated as the first female electronic composer and the first woman to compose a film score. The truth is that a woman named Bebe Barron beat Carlos to it in 1956, writing and performing the score for Forbidden Planet with her husband Louis. The rainbow warriors are effectively writing her out of history.

City of London Corporation deserve to be completely ducked over this - they are a misogynistic organisation and women are treated badly at all levels.

Look at the him, absolutely vile

"...duck you, women"...
Does he include his mother/sister/aunt/grandmother in that vile remark?

Maybe he could use his prize money to fix his huge lantern jaw. Still be a man though. duck HIM.

I saw that photo on insta earlier and it‘s given me the rage all day. well, congrats to you, fella, congrats on having no respect whatsoever for women.

comments in James’s post reference that this a was at the fringe in 2022 complaining that he’d been “cancelled”. Here’s the link to an article about that, written by a quite insufferable they /them that I’ve had the dubious pleasure of coming across professionally. I say “professionally”- I was, anyway 😬

This is an incredibly frustrating and infuriating interview with the head of the Equality Network in Scotland supposedly works for LBGT equality and human rights in Scotland. It's a shocker to be honest: there's so much wrong with it but I think my favourite part is her belief that we terfs are all in thrall to MAGA and that is what is behind our fight.

She spouts so much nonsense - it's astounding.

I could barely get through that. She’s hit every thought terminating cliche on the way to climbing on that lovely big high horse of hers. The best bit is where she chastises her own side for not being kind enough to people who oppose them- there’s no room in her worldview at all for them just to accept that people have legitimate, balanced, thought-through views that happen to differ from her own. No, her suggestion is that we are kindly, gently led to the understanding that we are hateful bigots who need to be re educated. ducks sake.

That interview honestly read like it was written by AI. It's devastating to see a woman tell other women to be "kind".
