Absolutely this. There are only two sexes. Gender is irrelevant. I wish it would disappear, it’s horrible, outdated stereotypes are setting women’s rights so far back. It’s also toxic to more feminine presenting males. I wish people WERE kind and accept not all women are traditionally feminine and equally not all men are macho. It does not mean that anyone has been born in the wrong body though. It’s just, everyone is different. But, however you present, you cannot change your sex. Of course, the TRA will always name call, threaten and try to cancel anyone not going along with their ideology, because once you accept the absolute binary nature of sex, and the fact it can NEVER be changed, then their claims become meaningless.
I hope he gets stared at, laughed at, talked about behind his back, and pointed at by small children. What a wickMeanwhile, look who’s back at work
The makers of ''Six'' are entirely captured. Which is an incredible shame, because 'Six ' is an incredible musical from 2 young people who started it in their teens and early 20s. !!!

My jaw was on the floor earlier. I was walking down the street and a man walked past me with a t shirt that read, in caps, “JK IS A bleep”.
What the duck? What is going through his head? I can’t think of who else he could mean but JK Rowling. Imagine wandering down a busy street in the early afternoon wearing a t shirt that proclaims that a specific, named woman is a bleep - a hateful, misogynistic slur - presumably solely for the reason that she’s said some things that you don’t like about basic, biological facts and womens rights, and honestly thinking that it makes you the progressive one. The absolute state of you, you woman hating little wick. Had I not already been late, I would seriously have stopped him and asked him what the duck he thought he was playing at. Never, ever underestimate how much some men hate women

Gender as described by Simone de Beauvoir isnt entirely irrelevant though!
There are of course 2 biological sexes, but traditionally and probably even now, men and women were and are treated differently because of their sex.
I think originally the idea of gender, was to suggest/remind people that girls and women could do ''male'' activities like hunting, shooting and fishing, and be the breadwinner and earn more than their partner, and not have to the be the main childcarer, because they were as able as a man to fulfil the traditional male gender roles. And of course vice versa for men. So gender was a way of defining and naming different male and female behaviours.
Simone de Beauvoir a century ago was prevented from doing loads of things because of being female, She was perceived by society as a whole as being inferior. which she felt was massively unfair.
Roll on to 2025, and we still have massive differences between men and women, and their traditional roles. There are exceptions of course....eg our brilliant womens football team!! A lot of women still are in lower paid professions, or caring professions or part time professions trying to juggle family commitments. Im not sure exactly what the figures are....it would be interesting to see!
Which then has an effect on things like pensions and investments! I would imagine if you look at people retiring today who are in their 60s, more women will be on part time or lower company pensions than men.
I think, even now, A lot of women are still judged more on their appearance and clothing than men. in my experience,, Women spend more than men on things like hairdressing and nails and beauty salons etc. I havent seen that many men with botox or lip fillers etc

Thank you everyone for your replies. They've been really helpful. The links you have shared are new to me and my relative. She was in tears to know so many people cared enough to help. She has a bit more hope now and lots to read through.
I was very supportive of trans rights without really knowing just how many perverts are using the guise of woman to operate. I was so naive. Now, I know better and my relative's situation has really opened my eyes to what a cult it all is and how it goes all the way to the top. This might be crazy but I seem to remember some pedalo group called PIE reaching out to Labour and possibly Harriet Harmen supporting them (during the 1970s). They wanted to legalise relationships with children. Utterly horrifying. The increase in trans men makes me wonder if they have succeeded in infiltrating the media and politics at the top but under another name.
She had a full hysterectomy and under boob surgery. The scar is like an outline of what was once there.
