Fife is covering Up to No Good's legal fees.

That was what struck me. Sandie Peggie has had to raise her own funds.

Would Dr "Beth" be so keen to go to court if he had to pay his own way? In fact would any of them, if they were being held financially responsible, and not spaffing public money from an already overstretched and underfunded service?

I think we all know the answer to that.

One of the woman's points regarding not paying for her ex-husband's surgery out of their joint funds is that his decision to transition was the reason for the divorce, and yet the judge still believes that she should contribute. As for the ex-husband, he has the nerve to compare his transitioning to getting treatment for cancer.

Appalling decision.

He chose to "transition". Nobody chooses cancer. bleeping b of a man. How dare he!

Thats a very good article in The Times, really shows how NHS Fife have tied themselves into a knot.
I have to say I disagree that the career stakes are as high for Upton, theres no way that even if its found out it was all fabricated that there will be anything more than a slap on the wrist, if even that. If NHS Fife have their way I'm sure it will all be swept under the rug

‘During their separation, the husband, who has retrained as a massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, claimed he could not afford to pay the court-ordered maintenance to his wife and children but splashed £14,000 on an Amex card in one month “mainly on clothing, nails, jewellery and restaurants”, got £13,000 worth of tattoos in six months and racked up a £1,000 Milan restaurant bill.

She was “deeply shocked” when her husband “stated that she intended to live her new life as a les woman” and that is when she began divorce proceedings.
She argued that it was the husband’s choice to have the surgery but it should be paid out of his personal assets, saying it was unfair for her to foot half the bill as the “decision to transition that caused the end of the marriage”.

The husband responded: “You marry a trans person. You live with a trans person. You benefit from a trans person. They are suicidal and you support them.”’

I have no words for this narcissistic, manipulative hole. Straight out out the TRA/MRA playbook. Where is the consideration for the woman’s feelings in all this? The judge ruled in favour of the man based on his feelings, never mind that his wife has been lied to and been forced to end her marriage as a result of her husband’s actions. I would put money on him being a skin walker too .

Without wishing to turn this into an Indy debate.... the SNP are destroying themselves over this. The Scots (unless they're TRAs at Edinburgh uni...) no matter how hardline Indy they are will not appreciate public money being wasted like this.

There's a Holyrood election next year, the Tories and Reform will be all over this at every opportunity (obviously Lab, Lib Dems and the bloody Greens are up to their necks in this tit as well).

When NHS Fife lose this case, and they will, there has better be some serious consequences for anyone responsible.

And the judge noted that the husband had no understanding of how anyone else might have been affected and had no empathy at all for his ex wife.

That seems to be the common denominator with these husbands. Utter selfishness and expectation that their wives should just carry on as normal.
