Well that's me convinced I'm now team trans. Look at their concern for women being asked if they are women in toilets, so grateful to them.

Disgrace of a woman, women didn't want to be in a battle either on their rights which were protected by lawYes, let’s not forget this
“You should be able to self-identify as who you are.” These people won’t have had an about-turn in their beliefs overnight.
Scottish Labour are trying to distance themselves from UK Labour. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Scottish elections are next year and they are tit scared of losing seats.I will never vote Labour ever again. I always used to vote for them when I was younger because I believed they were the party who stuck up for the working class and wanted a more equitable society for everyone.
They seem to have drifted a long way from this over the years. Now they are the party of the liberal metropolitan elite, disparate minority groups (most of whom don't agree with each other) and they obviously couldn't give a tit about old age pensioners or women's rights or making life better for the average person in this country. I feel really betrayed by them.
This stupidity about self-identity needs to get in the sea. No amount of self-identifying as something that one is not changes material reality.Yes, let’s not forget this

They absolutely need to sort themselves out on this because otherwise they are going to lose, horribly, again. How many times do voters need to tell these cloth eared muppets that the general public does not back this stuff?Scottish Labour are trying to distance themselves from UK Labour. I'll just identify as ambulant and rich, shall I? I mean, it won't get me walking and my bank account will still have fourpence ha'penny in it, but "muh identiteee".
I see the Met Police have reverse ferreted on their previous statement that the threatening placards at the demo in London were from somewhere else/a different time, and are now investigating. https://archive.is/wNC6H (Telegraph article).
If "terf" was replaced on the signs with "trans", you can bet they'd have investigated and charged by the end of last Saturday.
Given their recent history, you’d think the Met would recognise the indefensible stupidity of choosing to look the other way and dismiss public threats of violence against women as ‘historic’. Absolutely shameful.I see the Met Police have reverse ferreted on their previous statement that the threatening placards at the demo in London were from somewhere else/a different time, and are now investigating. https://archive.is/wNC6H (Telegraph article).

TransWomen Are WomenHi, could I just ask what TWAW is? Can't see it on the Wiki.
Apologies if it's obvious and I'm being dense.
Women will have to sue the hospital and report it to the police. I can't remember who it was but some politician yesterday said they wasn't going to monitor the situation. Is this ruling going to be enforceable? I read online that london hospitals are refusing to enforce it?
They are pretty much the Social Justice/activism party nowadays. Seem to spend too much time pandering to activism, much of which is utterly crazy (and dangerous) ideology.I will never vote Labour ever again. I always used to vote for them when I was younger because I believed they were the party who stuck up for the working class and wanted a more equitable society for everyone.

Here,here! for JKR !!
I'm inclined to agree a bit. JK has been widely vilified by deranged activists though so it's understandable that she's speaking her mind but perhaps she should step back and dial it down a bit because it's making the deranged lunatics even worse in their hatred for her.Agree, JKR shouldn’t give India the oxygen he craves. It’d piss him off way more to be ignored. She should rise above.
I enjoy her clapbacks when she quote tweets some tra bs but I think she gives India too much attention. She's so witty and he's so thick maybe she just can't resist it. Anyway it's totally her call but I think it's almost working in his favour. I feel like I'd see a lot less of him if JKR never interacted with him.I'm inclined to agree a bit. Partly I think they should just be ignored but equally they do need to be challenged because not challenging them has led to their activism being adopted by so many institutions. It's a difficult call.
I want to be 5 inches taller, but biology made me a short a so I simply can’t be!This whole ridiculous situation is the culmination of our society going down a path where no one can be told “no”. A path where masses of people begin to identify as victims and define themselves as such as though there’s some kind of kudos in it and where successive governments lost every scrap of backbone in their efforts to appease and win voters (sorry to stereotype, but mainly the focus being on the young, university voters)
I’ve sat thinking about it this morning and I honestly can’t believe it’s even being discussed, let alone that it got as far as the Supreme Court, as a result of our leaders being too scared to say that men are men.
I mean I want to be 5 inches taller, but biology made me a short a so I simply can’t be!
It’s literally foot stamping tantrums and a hefty measure of misogyny going on here.
If you’ve got bits, you’re a man. How hard can it be?
Yes I’m being simplistic - I’m not unsympathetic to anyone who feels more comfortable in female company, or clothes; as I said earlier, for these people maybe a campaign for their own spaces would have been a better use of time and money.
But the very fact that people have been persecuted, fired from jobs and harassed for stating FACT is frankly terrifying.
If Keir Starmer has any guts at all he should issue an apology for the fact that this utter madness was allowed to get so far.
You’re absolutely right!I want to be 5 inches taller, but biology made me a short a so I simply can’t be!
For heaven's sake! Educate yourself! Biology is just a social construct. Take no notice of it.
Insist that people recognise your new height and treat you accordingly. I'd start with clothes shops if I were you. Buy the extra long and wear it proudly. Then complain about their ridiculous sizing. Make family, friends and colleagues look up into your face when they speak to you - even if they are taller (insist that they kneel down and gaze up at you adoringly). They MUST stop being heights and respect your needs, because you insist on it.
It's about time "Transheights Got Their Rights".
