I work in an area where there are lots of young trans people. I see a lot and speak to some and not one has ever been a confident, capable and dare I say 'happy' individual. Every single one has had a pile of baggage (for want of a better to term to cover all the issues, diagnoses, crises of confidence, etc.) and most are quite troubled.

Hyperandrogenism, testosterone deficiency, oestrogen dominance, thyroid imbalances. They can all cause men/women to develop characteristics of the opposite sex.
You also have chimerism to throw into the mix of things that affect sex!
Where did I say I’m opening the door to all males?
---

Where have I said I’d let men into our spaces?
Do you know how bleeping insulting this is to women like me with PCOS. I’m bleeping sick of people using medical conditions like PCOS as evidence of trans being a real thing.

I used to love train sets and climbing trees when I was a kid. I'm 100% female, thank god I was a young kid in the 70s before the world went bat tit crazy.
When I was younger I loved ‘boy things’ I had a skeletor (from he-man) bike, all of my action figures were superman/spiderman/batman and my favourite was my Mr T figure and the rest of the A-Team. I shared a room with my sister and she had her half decorated with Care Bears and my little pony and my half was Spider-Man 😂

I was also in Tesco with my 11YO a few weeks ago and I picked up a pair of Spider-Man jammies and standing in the check out line he was telling me very excitedly that he was putting his new jammies on after a shower and the lady scanned them and said oh these are girl pyjamas do you want to go swap them - my son just looked at me like sheer confusion and I said to her don’t worry I’m sure his pen isn’t going to fall off when he wears them 😂 Like WTF stay in your own lane 😂

I mostly lurk in this thread so apologies if I've missed this, but am curious as to why this has been moved from Off Topic to Current Events? Spent ages looking for the thread in Off Topic before finding it from the link in the last thread!

I was going to go to this, it was in Melbourne where I live. I decided not to as I'd been unwell all week.
I'm disappointed I couldn't go but I also would've been pretty anxious with all that hate coming from the TRAs.
This is horrible but I can't help but chuckle at how the play button has been placed so the sign now reads "trans men are women"

You can tell male entitlement a mile away. Of all the millions of places on the internet, there are maybe a handful where gender critical people can speak freely and truthfully. And wouldn't you know, they are always being invaded by men telling us we are unkind. These bleeping men not only want to control our speech, spaces, sports, they want to control our thoughts too. bleeps. Been dealing with male entitlement for far too many decades not to recognise it in an instant. I have been kind in the past. These days my kindness is for women and girls losing spaces, sports and language. Men do not deserve any woman's kindness, they have the whole world looking out for them.
Yep. Entitled # bekind ( #becunts) posters on here late at night from a different time zone , being paid to autobot # thoughtspeak onto Women in order to try and make out they know best/ are superior to/ Women.
They when they get nowhere, try to leave with a comment like " you may want to reflect on our conversation" as if they are in the right, etc 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆

I was groped on a busy train last night. I’ve just gone to pick up my dry cleaning and a bloke screamed something sexual at me on the street and then that he was going to follow me. I’ve got an appointment today about fibroids where I’m basically going to be given a choice; remove my whole uterus, cut my stomach open or have radiotherapy that may affect my fertility and raises my risk of cancer.
This is all in the space of 24 hours.
It just makes me furious that men can put on a dress, say they feel pretty like a woman and they’ve always felt this way, and that they belong in my spaces, with absolutely no idea of the lived experiences of women 😠 To be honest being a woman would probably be quite fun and sunshine and roses if only the positives were focused on. Which is what these men are doing.
Sorry to hear that @soph30
I hope all goes well with your medical appointment.

I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this at anytime never mind all in 24hrs. You are right. Trans identified males would never have to deal with any of this. Which is why identifying as a woman will never make them one. Ever.

Oh look. I wonder which of these trans identified people would be prepared to have a reasonable conversation if I were to just get away from the keyboard and go meet them. Presumably if they are aggressive it’s my own fault for not softening my approach towards them.

@oned44 What did you mean by "I'm a les, you should try it?"
Such a strange thing to say. You may or may not be a les but you're sure as duck pandering to men, in my opinion.

FUI The word is losing, not loosing.
Yes, that stood out to me too. Can’t imagine any same-sex attracted woman saying that to anyone . Also, it seems as if last night’s visitors didn’t appreciate that this thread has plenty of LGB participants.

In short, their message is that the demands of trans-identifying males should be met whatever the cost and it doesn’t matter if the safety and privacy of women and girls is used as collateral. Our needs matter less - so what’s new?

Well said!

Plus - I'm delighted that they are making Spider-Man pyjamas for girls nowadays. Let kids wear what they want (when they aren't at school, anyway). That's how they expand their imaginations, enjoy living out harmless fantasy lives, and develop healthy personalities.

Yea I think it was meant to be another ‘gotcha’…

“I’m a les so this is proof I could never pander to men”

Despite the fact this poster’s definition for men and women is blurred and confused anyway. And that lesbians of the actual female variety can still pander to men due to patriarchy.

I work with an older woman who is an out and proud les. She's generally a nice person but she's as woke as they come and wears a progress badge the entire time. Strangely enough I've noticed that she's extremely accommodating to men and definitely panders to them more than women.
I find it odd that I'm more critical of the men at work than she is.

Thank you but the sad thing is I don't think it's all that unusual in the daily life of a woman. The catcalling and comments can be even worse when you're younger- I'm mid thirties. I'm just visualising myself in my teen years, where I'd often be yelled at by builders when getting the school bus, harassed at school by boys and have heavy periods that would leave me bleeding for half an hour in the loos. Teen boys don't go through any of that and yet they still feel confident enough to say they feel like a girl whilst they're pandered to 😠 What does a girl feel like exactly? I imagine just the shiny pretty side 🌈
Appt was okay actually they reckon they can shrink the fibroid with ultrasound waves

@oned44, playing Devil's advocate - I don't know what your relationship status is, but if you were single and open to having fun, if you were to hook up with a trans woman (a man) who had a fully functioning rooster and balls, would this still turn you on because the person says they identify as a woman, or would it put a dampener on any intimate contact? Serious question, genuinely interested.

Hats off to you, Phil. That's a great question, one I wish I'd thought of.

Looking forward to his/her/robot's answer.

I suggest people Google that users name and see the first set of results…
I bleeping knew it!! Hahahaha!!

So oned44, doesn’t even pass as a woman on an anonymous forum. His attitude towards women gives him away entirely! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I have so much more that I could say but I would prefer not to get banned. I love this space for massive terfs too much 🥰
